  • Between this game and "Ghouls n Ghosts" on the Genesis/MegaDrive, which one would you say you enjoy playing more? The double jump is hard to pass up, but I've heard that the Genesis version has its perks as well. What's your take?

  • IMHO this is a better game but the Gen version is easier so if you don't want a too brutal a game, go for that one.

  • @DEIVION212 I went ahead and snagged this one over the Genesis version because the version on the Genesis didn't seem to have as good of a quality in music AND graphics. There's also that double jump which is just so much damn fun. So far, I'm only on the 4th level, and it's been insanely difficult, but also highly addictive. You're my go-to guy for any time that I'm looking to download another game. Thanks for the reviews!

  • Glad they're helping and glad you like the game :)

I've been a fan for years, music, visuals, gameplay, all just top knotch IMO :)

  • once agaain can you please tell me if the virtual console version has slowdown. i dont mean to be pushy but i asked 2 weeks ago and i really want this game. i cant find the answer anywhere on the internet. pleeease help

  • You're in Canada, I CAN'T help you. You get totally different versions of games, you get 60HZ we get 50HZ, the different is huge and therefore I cannot help you.

I'm sorry, but I left the comment incase someone else could, because I can't.

  • @TheFloydios I've noticed that where there is slowdown on the actual console, there is slowdown on the virtual console. That might be a bummer, but damn, it's authentic...and you forget that you're not playing an actual NES again.

  • Should have showed level one music! It's classic

  • Odd choice of words, showed music.

I know what you mean of course I just had to laugh at little in my head at the thought of showing music. Kinda makes you think what it would look like, anyway...

I agree but I had used the level select cheat to goto a specific level, didn't realise I'd went to the wrong level and then even though I'd hit reset on the home menu 4 times it kept taking me to level 4, there's about 15 minutes of this vid that was cut, where I was getting annoyed by the game XD

  • @DEIVION212

Just to say, this was by no means a complaint, your reviews are EPIC, they actually review and not comment. But I do think linking people to the tune I am sure you meant to show would make people buy it XD And then they won't have a choice. I didn't mean that you didn't show music. At the moment I am watching every video since a few episodes back from this. So I will probably notice different things, also I finally got my bum into gear and am working on my own videos. Subbed!

  • Don't worry I know it wasn't a complaint it's just this one does have a story behind it, lol.

Glad to hear it, hope you do well :)

    Thanks :)

  • @DEIVION212

Ah cool, just making sure :D

Thanks for the support given in advance.

Want me to message you when it is done (might take a week to 2)

Good luck and keep on gamin' ;D

  • You might have to keep reminding me but yeah I'll try to take a look :)

  • @DEIVION212

    I feel honoured :D

  • does the virtual console version of the game have slowdown? please get back to me. PEACE

  • I liked the second level the most. The music is prime SNES on all levels.

  • I finally finished this game recently. So hard. It really is all about memorizing the enemy.

  • I love the SGNG music, the main theme is iconic :)

  • Thanks :)
