Those stripper fronts are the best. we have a cvs32 on cx8090 it tranforms the combine from 55ton/hr to 90ton/hr. can get into crop earlyer and we find moisture is half % lower 2 becasue grain doesnt rub up aganist damp straw.
we run ten deere and two cat combines and they are great but it is hard to beat something thats easy to work on yourself. you got some good looking equipment and great videos thanks i enjoyed them
I agree on the silage chopper, but that combine has way too much electronics onboard for me.....I love the simplicity of the early model R-72 with 6000 hours. Hard to beat something you can work on.
@daveh3434 haha i agree we run a r72 and a 2288 case when the gleaner breaks down we can fix it no problem but when the case breaks down it takes us much longer to get it back goin
not to mention that the lexions are quite heavy. the gleaner, while strong, is still the lightest class seven combine out there. hello less compaction!
im not agreeing with jimulomotocrosser, but it would be devastating to use strippers in our area, Red River Valley (Manitoba). We receive so much moisture and spring flooding, zero till is not an option, and if we were to leave all that standing straw, most years we would have no chance at getting the airdrill onto the field in the spring. nice vid though
Explain what the hell that is supposed to mean. We've been using them every year for like 12 years. Don't know where you're coming from with this BS. Don't comment unless you know whats going on.
We've used Shelbourne's on everything from wheat, millet, alfalfa, pinto beans, northern beans, little blue stem grass, etc. Best head we've found for a combine. If we had so much trouble, would we waste the money on 3?
It depends on the wheat crop. These 72's max out the sieves at 1100 bushels per hour. I think they can do more than that in an easy thrashing wheat. 7 mph in 45 bu wheat. Our problem is trucking away that much wheat with 3 machines.
ya the usa headquarters is in colby ks im about 20 miles morth of there...they are amazing header...i just wish you could cut milo with them.....how fast do you run in wheat with them on gleaners?
Very nice! The Gleaners are fine machines. Can't speak for the rest, never found a reason to try one!

Stripper heads really shine for baling certified weed free straw for use in road projects and fire damaged reclamation projects.
