@starwarsfan30 I used Sony Vegas. I'm not familiar with Adobe Premier, but I did a quick google search and the internet told me that Premier doesn't have any sort of traditional masking tool. I'm pretty sure it won't be possible, but I could be wrong.

how did you get the outline around twilight to "thump"?

@DarKNess7341 I used the outline option in Vegas and keyframed the outline to match with the beat. The only problem is that the outline can poke out through the mask, which you can see when Twilight zooms out.

@Liftlok If I'm remembering correctly, I used the outline option in the video event/pan/crop window, and for each "thump" I started off with the outline being the same size as the mask so it wasn't visible, then I had another setting where the outline was expanded (the thump), then I copied the first setting again so the outline would shrink back and not be visible.

I'm not sure I can explain it too well until I get my laptop fixed and can look at Vegas.
