How do they calculate he jumped 43 inches off the ground? I'm sure he could jump that high but his head would be over rim if he did. He is around 80 inches tall (if he is 6 foot 8) and the basket is suspended at 120 inches off the ground. Obviously this means he would have to jump 40 inches to hit his head on the rim. He is just under that on this dunk. Sports science my ass.

No wonder i can't dunk! I'm 5'11, 250lbs, and my hand is only 7.5 inches long. my armspan is 6'0", and when i try to dunk, the ball always hits the side of the rim and goes out. If i were 6'8 with a armspan of 7'0 i'd be able to dunk. I'd probably have to generate 1,000 lbs upward to do a weak dunk.
