Jeremy Maclin was available from picks 11-18 and he was the the second best receiver in the draft behind crabtree. you know the raiders only picked heyward bey because of his speed, he did not deserve to be the first receiver taken, harvin is better then him. however even if he didnt smoke, there is no guarantee that he would've been picked higher. i am writing a paper about the draft and i have done research. 11-18 did not need a receiver thats why they didnt take one dumbass

As far as Maclin, he was projected by Mel Kiper to go the Raiders, but when they went with Heyward-Bey, interest in him fell. Probably that combined with the fact that he fell during the Combine and hyper-extended his left knee. Or maybe because he was only a redshirt sophomore. Pick your favorite!
