  • That tree harvester is awesome. I wish that I had one so that I could cut down trees by the thousands.

  • haha your protests haven't done shit. building going on everyday, goddamn hippies

  • Hey thats my Neighborhood!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The construction companies are doing the work so they can put food on the table and Hire more employes. Leave the Construction Companies alone.

  • LOL! Nurenburg anyone?

    Taking orders doesnt cut it

  • No workers are doing that work so they can put food on the table. People like the heads of Clark Construction are doing it because they are trying to put another Lexus or Mercedes in their new 3 car garage in their mansion in Potomac, while the workers struggle to put food on the table and run the risk of getting fired too downsize the company so C.E.Os and V.P.s are making more money.

  • can you take a still shot and post it up?

  • hippies.... grow up.. I will be chuckling at you when I see you driving on these roads and thinking.... man.. traffic is so much better. :)

  • X2. I drove through mont. county aka georgia ave. god what a clusterfuck. just wait til the icc opens then neighborhoods will be neighborhoods again. down with the hippies

  • Studies have shown that traffic will not improve anywhere because of these $7 toll roads. If I even ever got a car which would be pretty silly at this point there is no way I could afford the $7 tolls for a useless road. The solution is never too build a useless road nobody will drive on because they cannot afford it especially in this economy (which you probably wouldn't understand) It would be too increase and improve public transportation and promote carpooling, meaning less cars on the road!

  • Yes we all knew they were trying to do this abomination. We have been fighting it for years.Governor Glendennig stopped it. Governor Erlick revived it and had the federal government fast track all the environmental studies and despite many, many objections from the public and a disclamer from the state highway department that this would NOT relieve traffic congestion on the Capital Beltway, official argument for the project, the project was given a green light.Governor O'Mally approves of this.

  • The ICC or Outer beltway was planned in the 60's. I feel bad for you but it was coming...

  • hey i'm actually doin' a project on the ICC, and just wanted to say that if anyone has a problem with the ICC, don't take it out on the construction companies... it's the state's mess... they're just doin the dirty work...

  • It is also the construction companies mess...they have the ability to say no to the contracts but the FACT that Clark Construction (who is also responsible for gentrification in D.C. with their condos and other crap as well as the IMF's building #2 and a barracks at the School of the Americas) said yes to the contract makes them guilty. Nobody forced any of the companies involved in the ICC to get involved they did it because they chose to and that means we must take action against them!

  • The people not too take it out on are the workers! But we should take it out on the companies as well as the state here are some companies:

Shirley Contracting Co., Clark Construction Group, Guy F. Atkinson Construction LLC, Trumbull Corp, Inter County Constructors, Corman Construction Inc.,Granite Construction Co, and G.A. and F.C. Wagman Inc.

  • so if the sate came to a construction company you own and said we are going to award a multi-million dollar contract and you we lowest resposible bidder, you would turn it down, knowing the work was going to happen anyway? construction companies should say no to the contracts, get a grip.

  • I don't have a construction company and never would. however if they came to tear up where I live damn right I would turn down the contract and I would make an opposition. There is a little something called values, maybe if you grew the fuck up you might realize that. You don't allow your home to be torn up for luxury roads costing $7 a toll or even for non toll roads.

  • dude, i feel so sorry for you. Your freaking backyard is done.
