it's such a perfect refinement of HOMM's system that it's hard to complain....Having played both the DOS and Genesis versions of the original King's Bounty and every Heroes game in depth (except 4) I have nothing but love for both games/battle systems

I never played the original but I must say I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Seriously, great gameplay, great graphics, wonderful music.

I really love strat games, Master of Orion 1 and 2, Heroes of might and magic 2 and 3, the list goes on. This is a great modern update and a classic strategy adventure game.

The guy who developed the game also worked on HOMM, so that's why there is a similarity. It's more rpg though with better story and a cool quest system. I just finished playing through and its a really good game. Grew on me a lot!

New World Computing did (they also made HOMM, in the case that you forgot).

All this game does is take advantage of the old Kings Bounty copyright.

It is technically nothing like the old Kings Bounty, the battle system or graphical style is not even close to old Kings Bounty. I played (and still own) old megadrive/genesis Kings Bounty. This game just rips off HOMM gameplay + WoW graphics.

most eaz program ever to record is Fraps ... the FPS counter program yes .. only prob is that the out-put video file is some kind of HUGE .avi file ... like for 1 min of rec u get a 2-3 GB file ... so that means u have to convert it with some other program into a .Mpg .Vcd file or something that uses less space for upload! Like Blaze Media Pro or Cucusoft Video Converter!

This is a superb game, and HoMM was actually based off the original 1989 version of Kings Bounty which is still damn good, this is the remake and it lives up to it's namesake. It's a superb and beautiful product and well worth anyones money.

Gamespy gave it a 4.5/5 Stars. The graphics looks better than HOMM V. It should though since its a newer game. I read thestory line is quite good. Obviously if you didnt like the HOMM series you wont like this one but if you liked the HOMM series then this is one you'll like.
