  • how do u animate in brawlbox? Like, what are the keys you use to move bones and rotate them and such.

  • Ehh, the thing is I haven't worked on him very much for the past couple of months, I've been super busy with school, and life =p

    I have jointed with another guy and he's gotten a fair amount of work done. No new animations, but he's gotten the texture to work and the walking/running glitch is pretty much solved. I'll contact him and see if he's ready to release an early alpha. What do you want him for? Machinima, or just playing with him?

  • Well, I'm actually not going to be working on this project at all for a little while, I found a major bug with his run, which freezes the game, as well as a messed up texture that I have no idea how to fix =/

    I'd say to just wait until I'm finished with Nagagog (My current project because no freezes + many bones to work with) sorry dx

    Shit, haven't been following Brawl hacks for months now, but has it really come to this? God damn, I'm impressed.

    Definitely keeping in touch with this channel if you're uploading more Saki stuff.

    You should go back to SWF if you haven't already and see all the recent developments, like Waluigi, Geno (Over Tink), This one awesome dude is making Drifloon a playable character too, and Thunderspam, who awesomely commented on this is making Primid, and is REALLY CLOSE. He's the reason I started making Saki =D

  • Alright, first; Saki is an assist trophy in Brawl, IMO he shoulda been a full character. I've pretty much got my bases covered in all respects for Saki and I'll be finished with his animations in the distant future

    Second; ChiboSempai is already making Waluigi, hell, he's already gotten him to run properly (Which is a common error that occurs with model swaps)

    Third; Go to Smash World Forums and learn about what's been happening in the hacking community before you get too involved w/ Waluigi.

  • Now, did you make this animation yourself, or did you get Saki's running animation that was already in the game?

  • This is actually Marth's walkfast animation, but on Saki, with less fuck'd up bones. IE: Dolphin isn't in a weird position with the sword bone sticking out and the rest of the gun not attached to his hand.

    I also cleaned up Ike's animations, for his Damagefall and Heavy/Light Fall

    But when I tested it, it froze the game, probably because of Saki's smaller bone count T^T

  • So far I honestly have no idea, but I've narrowed it down to a couple of factors and I'll use some trial and error to find out what was really happening.

  • Oh and Saki doesn't have a walk/run animation, all he does is dash without touching the ground and then slice up some enemies as an assist trophy.

  • I made this animation for SAKI with BrawlBox, a program that makes hacking Brawl a LOT easier.

    I'll give you more details the next time you come over.

  • With 3 games to pick moves from, he would have a very versatile moveset.

    Speaking of Movesetting, how about you make Sly's? Since Model importing isn't too far around the corner, and I'm sure he hasn't been done yet, and he'd be a really cool character to create. Plus, you've played the game more than me so you'd know all his stuff. GO FOR IT, SONNEH
