  • Logan Lerman Brought me Here ^ ^

    Thank you

  • such an amazing artist.

  • I was born in 86' and this song has been with me for my entire life. Words can't describe how important this song is to me.

  • Perfection

Dedicated to my beautiful sister Diane xxx

  • Neil Young=Epic Success

  • OMG I can't say it in words how much I'm in love with this song!!!! :D

It's so amazing!!! I don't know what else to say, no words to describe this awesomeness :D

  • Where are those wonderful days? Every week there was a new fantastic song that would last forever and singers, real singers.

Today all is boring and shorttermed.

  • THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

  • This is a masterpiece!! Neil Young at his absolute best!!

  • pretty sure the 3 dislikes are made by accident. i have me myself done it a few times

  • @robbantheshit If so, Why dont they just change what they pressed then. :P

  • so talented, only a caveman could make it

  • what jccusell said

  • Those chords are incredible, Neil is such an artist

  • Just listenening to him tuning up and ousting the first colorful chords from his guitar is 1.6 trillion (don;t worry ive done the math) better then any stuff being made today.

  • I love this song, its real and I can feel his emotion and it just adds to the stunning ability this song has.

  • @obeyance.We go 2 c live music performed as it was meant 2 b heard, the differences in vocals or the absence of polish from the studio IS the key,the beauty of hearing the song in it's most natural state. It's also nice 2 hear a somewhat altered version of a song,1 can fall in love all over again with some subtle changes 2 a song.I bet U quit buying albums/cd's because U THINK all the other songs(besides the 1 song that inspired u 2 buy it in the 1st place) were all wierd or no good, right?

  • theres singin/songwriting and then u hear this ovr+ovr..magic

  • Love the boom of an acoustic guitar... compliment it with the falsetto of Young's voice, and you've got a masterpiece!

  • @obeyance quit your bitching idiot

  • @obeyance lol.

  • @obeyance he sings it absolutely shudderingly amazingly WOW are you deaf?

  • Three people let it bring them down.

  • voice of an angel..simply AMAZING

  • This is Art. Shame you can't hang it on your wall, 'cause i would surely like to hang this up...

  • Just a man and his guitar, you couldn't get anymore real then this.

  • lol at 3 dislikes

  • @xROFLawsonx I agree I am 26 years old I have listened to him since I could rememeber thanks to my Dad who would always listen and then my uncle would play the guitar and play neil young and we would all sing along....I thought maybe because it was a part of me growing up that is where the emotion came from but I am thankful also for this amazing raw footage to see and hear him play I sit on here and look up all the rockers thanks youtube and youtubers!!!

  • MY - Second Favorite song - best to you and Peggy - thank you - for EVERYTHING that you ARE.. Peace

  • this song makes me cry everytime wow! both his and annie lennoxs remake

  • i love how this was many years ago and its still in good quality...Just Amazing!

  • grandfather of grunge

  • Didn't he write this song on the tour bus one day with 5 other hits one day? I't was way before he went from the blue and into the black. Great campfire song, if you can sing sort of.

  • harmonics = goosebumps

    so beautiful <3

  • Gives me Shivers everytime, Beautiful

  • Canadia fuk ja.

  • Saw Neil Young at the Spectrum the Day the War in Vietnam was over What atrip!!!!

  • @mommyaud1

wow sounds like a lot of undescribeable energy.

  • jesus...what a fucking voice...he makes me proud to be canadian

  • all i got to say if fuck yeah, i mean really, can you find anything wrong with this?

  • Superb!!!

  • REAL music! amazing song!

"Come on down to the river of sight and you can really understand"!

  • @Branstonburp Epic!

  • grandissimo Neil......grande poeta, grande artista e grande uomo.....lo adoro!

  • I don't know about you guys, but Neil Young's music elicits such emotions from me that other music cannot compare to. His voice, lyrics, guitar...everything. So thankful for this video.

  • @xROFLawsonx takes me to a better place every time i listen to neil. his voice and lyrics seem to almost cradle my soul.

  • Why do they always just show the face of the artist! It pisses me off being a guitar player and always looking for that one lick or chord that you always wanted to see how it was played and all you see is face! What a waste to see all these classic videos of just faces! What a waste!

  • @GregDrayGregDray Most of the time, the face is where the emotion comes out. It would be a totally different thing if during Nirvana's Unplugged album if they had got a close shot of Kurt's guitar for the end of the last song. You really can get a different feeling from the expression on their faces.

  • i just may be responsible for 80,000 views..

  • this song is poetry in motion.

  • This song blew me away...if you told me Neil Young Sung this song. I wouldnt believe you. You were ahead of your time Neil....

  • my friend drove me up north to a recording studio in the woods where neil young and the stones did some of their recordings. my phone was in my pocket and we were rough-housing in the snow outside. my phone must of slipped out. even now, i kinda expect a call from neil like: "hello? i found your phone."

  • I love all the albums he did in the early 70's & late 60's. Love that voice. When neil sing you know it's him,

  • I like this song, it has something comforting to it. But what do you think he means with " Find someone who is turning" ??

Great lyrics, 1.19 130: sounds mysterious to me :P

  • @roeky86 I think 'find someone who's turning' is a simple play on words. it emphasizes 'and youll come around' in a poetic way of creating a visualization. take someones hand and find a better way around things. its simple, really. a beautiful lyricist and songwriter.

  • Wow !!

  • The guitar, the voice, the lyrics....it's all so good!

  • MY Favorite Neil tune...!!!

  • MY Favorite Neil tune..!!!

  • This is an incredible song - intense & passionate.

  • Just an FYI, in 40 years nobody will be listening to nickelback.

  • acoustic excellence!!

  • Annie lenox totally butchered this song when she did her cover. Can't do a Neil Young song if you don't have Neil's passion.

  • legend

  • Why in the fuck would anybody bring up Nickelback in a Neil fucking Young video? My Fucking God people, what has this world come to

  • Great song.

  • Nickelback should be playing gay leather bars.

  • @saranwrapskull hey i dont want them anywhere near me

  • @saranwrapskull

    AMEN!

  • why is it weird that i l think nickelback is better? that's what's great about music is everyone can have a different opinion. i do think most people would agree with me though.

  • @chrisgaul69 Thats because most people are fucking stuoid, you must be one of those people

  • @buschman20001 Yeah, I can tell that you're not stuoid at all.

  • @chrisgaul69 LMAO

  • @chrisgaul69 hahahaha you got me! that was fucking funny man! Tell me another joke

  • This song reminds me of a strange world, red and black -colored, with newspapers flying about in Sin City -like light and old hobos in potato sacks, begging for money and waiting for the life in them die. But they're not worried, 'cause Neil Young's voice makes it seem alright.

  • great song but i like the annie lenox version more....

  • @kotopoulo0 actually neils version, because he wrote it

  • I <3 this song...she's beautifoul...

  • if you dare to care your on the right track - you can feel it.

  • Hey!

    Great song!

If you like this song you may like my stuff? Check out my video response 'Emily, When I am Free.'

Swing by my channel, leave a comment etc...

    Peace,

    Gavin.

  • well i mean sure neil young has a better voice, no question about it, and probably a technically better guitar player, but he's just not as good a songwriter as the guys from nickelback. and even though neil young's voice is better, it's not as passionate

  • @chrisgaul6 You GOTTA lay off the meth dude!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @chrisgaul69 I hope your joking.

  • love it!

  • waaat have i become--listening to my old friend sing his poetry, trading currencies and watching kramer on cnbc. i need to step back and just get the groove on again. (and you will come around)

  • @Airforce9999,

    Give us a break.

  • @HughCarpenter Love the fact by 'us' you mean you. And No, I will not give you a break. Get back to Work.

  • such an amazing voice...

  • The Lord of hosts is the one that's turning- find him and you will come around.

  • forgive the goosebumps. (come on down to the river of sight)...

  • 1:31 what is with his eye? and juxtaposed with the lyrics . . . hahahahahahahaha

  • such a depressing song, but he pulls it off beautifully.

  • do you think im a saddo just cuz im 11 and love neil young ??? i mean come on he is AMAZING

  • @goshawtyitsyabirthda

It's nice if you like him but don't try too much.

  • Please Neil, again.

  • Dead dog lying in the ditch, cigarette smoker has an itch. Secret whores with ancient vices. Luckies have the lowest prices.

  • @tubeyas57 Is that Carvey?

  • @tubeyas57 good shit.

  • Neil is the best

  • Play this song with 9-11 footage and, I don't know its unexplainable

  • veel,mooier,beter,dank,je,alls,ik,jou,niet,had,ontmoet,wist,ik,het,niet,bed,in,even,ok

  • I really like his singing voice!!!!!!!!!

  • I love it :D

  • He plays this song great in all the live versions I've seen. He sounds pretty high on the studio version, especially when he says "burning" and "turning".

  • @Sydwayman

he's not high, he's canadian. well, he might also be high. but the r's are eastern canadian.

  • How many likes can i give this song?!!

  • No thumbs down... that's right. No one can deny the electric feel of Neil Young.

  • "...and you will come arou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-nd. Sings that bit better live than on the studio version, extraordinary vocals

  • Awesome.

  • this is the first and favorite album that ive ever heard by neil young

  • This and Harvest Moon are the two most beautiful songs I have ever heard.

  • I get what you mean by "Canadian" music... but great music transcends boarders. He is a national treasure, to be sure, but his music reaches so for beyond any one country. And, yes... it IS awesome.

  • Neil..what a treat..he is such a poet. I love him

  • MAGIC

  • He didn't have a rack, he only had a D-28 and D-45 Martin -

  • My all-time favorite Neil song, but this is the 1st version I've heard that he screws up the chord changes (from the 1:00 minute mark) & you know he was not too happy about it, but what are you going to do? You just keep going. That's what I do when I screw up on stage. I also do this great tune, but who can do Neil justice?

  • @Kazyman as neil would say about the chord change, don't let it bring you down

  • this is the first time i've heard this song,my mouth was wide open from the moment he started singing to the second it ended

  • Neil Young was a true rockstar. If you notice in the beginning of the majority of his live videos, he's altering his tuning. Newer "rockstars" just have like 3 different guitars. Neil just uses 1 haha

  • @zachwasson2001 , maybe you need to watch jack white.

  • @neal609 haha you are telling me I need to watch Jack White? Jack white is my fuckin' hero. Love his solo shit and his shit with the White Stripes.

  • @zachwasson2001 He had a rack of about 5 guitars for this concert.

  • @zachwasson2001 Neil Young has like 5 guitars he plays live, especially around this time because he had been signed for a while. They're all vintage Martins and Gibson's too if I am not mistaken

  • still i think my favourite is the one on 4-way street with CSN

still very close to that one... i just wonder...

on second thought, i think it is the one from the 4-way street dbl album

  • still i think my favourite is the one on 4-way street with CSN

still very close to that one... i just wonder...

  • still i think my favourite is the one on 4-way street with CSN

  • AhhhMEN

  • ahhh, neil young....the very name just makes you think of how awesome canadian music is.

    great vid

  • @scrubsrules98 Like Beiber? ;)

  • @scrubsrules98

    Don't make it a nationality thing - That's cheap.

  • @ThuSkyline agreed, music transcends nations.
