He was one of the best character players and leaders in NHL history, alongside Orr, Bourque, Lemieux, etc. Honestly, what people seem to remember most about him is that he was the heart and soul of his team. That's at least #2 - his character and class.

@Koby1919 disliking bertuzzi is completely acceptable lol. but pavel...how could anybody not love the guy? He is so incredibly talented yet humble. best player in the world right now...he probably has been for a few years, he's just now getting widespread recognition after these playoffs :)

Number 1 should have been when he handed the cup to Ray Bourque in 2001. I don't know too many people who would do that.
