Should have gone to a power plant lake. Not affected as bad by a cold front and sometimes a cold front even turns em on. When they crank up the turbines at the power plant it really gets the water to circulating and the fish key on areas of structure where they can hide and attack bait fish as the current brings them past.

what kind of line/test/leader do you need to throw those large swimbaits. I have a 7'11 crucial swimbait rod, and a calcutta 400TE. Just dont know the line set-up. I would throw a fit if I snapped off a $50 swim bait!!
