  • um i get it some people are crazy but i never heard of someone killing a dog because of barking

  • sorry ok but this is better

  • i just spray a bit water on his face when he barks for no reason. works :)

  • @RastaMasta956 how do you spray it, surely it takes to long to fill up a bottle and then spray, by that time the dog would have stopped

  • @XxXGodsMistakeXxX nah i fill up a glass and it just takes like 5 seconds. when you keep doing this when your dog barks he/she will eventually stop. when my dog barks i just approach him with the glass of water and he stops when he just sees it, even when empty :)

  • @XxXGodsMistakeXxX thanks, it is actually paying off

  • We're having Christmas dinner (one of many this year) and I had to put my dog in our room. She's barking, whining...but I know she just wants to eat everything on the table. She's such a brat, lol.

  • wtf i dont like distracting my dog b4 i go out. thats so mean, its like saying look over there while i leave u here. ):

  • how could someone be so heartless as to kill their neighbours dog... its just like a human talking.

  • My dog barks at every door that opens in the house. It doesn't matter if it's the front door, or a bedroom door. How can I get him to cut it out?

  • lol aw man, the ignoring part is gonna be hard! my dog gets mad and runs back all over through the house if we try to say "quiet when she barks when she wants attention. Same when she's outside and we walk away...lol Im gonna try this though!

  • How do i shut her up when there is thunder?

  • Hi,

We live next to a public garden where people are walking their dogs,

My dog, who lives outside our house keep barking at dogs he can smell or hear (he cannot see them due the a cement wall) The barking are making me stressed and wake me up angry every morning, I can't do as suggested in complaint #2 because he lives outside to protect our house from real threats. How can i make him stop barking at every dog he smells from across the wall?

  • i tried ignoring him but he won't shut up. he barks at anything it moves any solutions?

  • @chapinkiller2 u just have to say shhhhhhh and then they stop barking or just give him a toy to occupy himself or herself with

  • 99% of urban dogs never get enough exercise. Try getting dogs in your neighborhood together so they can chase each other around (say in a field or park or schoolyard. A fenced area is best of course if they're easily distracted. In a few minutes they will be exhausted and won't have as much energy to bark incessantly at every sound they hear. If you don't have the energy or time there will be teenagers who need the money. 1 person this way can exercise many dogs at once.

  • @2befree99 wow 99% where'd u get those facts?

  • @Random0832 by opening my eyes in my own pitiful neighborhood. Hopefully you live in a better place where people do take care of their dogs. The sad fact is dogs require a very fit owner to keep up with them, otherwise they need other dogs to chase after and play with to get good exercise. And they usually get bored of that before they get good exercise. A bike is really the only way of properly exercising a medium to large dog. 95% of dog owners are hopelessly unfit here.

  • Exercise your dog well (so they are quite exhausted) and so many dog problems vanish, especially if they are eating a natural (no cooked, processed, garbage pet food diet - and no - anything with meal or byproducts at the end of its like fishmeal, chicken byproducts, is not a food) raw meat/fish, vegetables and fruit diet. No animal cooks their food. When you have a health issue - fast your dog on water. Its miraculous how many problems this solves.

  • Dogs respond to both positive and negative reactions to things. Put yourself in their place. Which would you prefer? Training should be almost all positive. And any negative should be administered only if all else fails and mostly to get the dog's attention or concentration. Usually, if you're observant to the dog, no negative force is ever needed. If the dog has been abused, keep in mind it can take several months for the abuse to fade away - on rare occasions it never does. Patience!

  • My little doggie is driving me insane. Our dog was a rescue weiner dog, and she was saved from a puppy mill. She immediately attached to me, but barks like crazy and even snaps at other people. She barks at every sound, even when my Dad coughs, whistles, or turns on his computer. It's ridiculous.

  • uh, if anybody kills a dog it's animal cruelty and can result in prosecution. anyone sending you threatening letters about your dog is fucked up. report them asap but also get your dog trained.

  • im sufring also frome my dog hes parking every time all day yhe good thing that we dont have neighbors im gonna try the last advise for him

  • but if your dog sees that your ignoring the behavior won't it think "oh its ok to do this"???

  • Good video, however click on my profile and you will see what worked for my dog, it worked very quickly

  • What if she barks at people when you put them out, ie the whole "MY TERRITORY!" thing, our little beast seems to think everything needs to be barked at when shes out, cant even take her for walks

  • if my neighbors did that I would wait in till they go on holiday and then burn there house down... and then when they come back I'll just say "sorry my note must have burnt in the fire"

  • thank you mrs. cynthia my wiener dog wouldn't stop and i was afraid i would have to put him down because my apartment neighbor called animal control :(

  • worked for me

  • good video what if you have a negative force that is deleting everything your trying to teach the dog and is going 100% against you and making the dog think it can do whateve it wants when that person is around what then

  • Sounds like the "negative force" is the boss over your dog. Both of you need to instill the proper behavior in the dog, otherwise it will get mixed messages - which it sounds like is the case now.

  • I hate my brother's dog. I guess it was abused by someone that looks exactly like me and it always barks and tries to attack me. It's bit me twice already.. I'll probaly end up breaking it's neck one day.

  • "Rock n' Roll" calms me.

  • can u buy those things that goes around ur dogs mouth and they can open their mouth?

  • where do you live, getting those letters

  • 1. do not treat your dog like a human

    2. take it on longer walks 2x 1 hours a day

    3. man up an take control, dogs wont hate you if you are hard on them they live in the moment. you are in control

  • @djvirgy1 - Has hitting YOU hard ever stop you from doing anything? Abuse doesn't solve the problem.

  • Comment removed

  • @LACynthia07 lol hitting is okay but beating and striking is abuse ...by hitting he means a steady strike on the back not a huge blow with a baseball bat its rediculous

  • @LACynthia07 ye it worked on me lol becuase once i was shooting my brother with airsoft gun an my dad slaped me in the head then i never did it again

  • @LACynthia07 yea it does i was making noises and my brother hit me so i stopped. Pwn

  • @LACynthia07 im with you that guys a douche bag and hitting it is just mean

  • @LACynthia07 Yes it did I didn't do stupid things when my parents hit me because I knew that I wasn't allowed. I had discipline but this didn't help me at all...

  • @LACynthia07 So if i was to punch you in the face every time you talked you would keep talking? hmm for some reason i think Abuse works, not saying you should do it.

  • @TwistedProductions99 Just because something works doesnt mean its right nor needed. For example: If I stick a loaded gun into your face and tell you to do or do not something, it'll work. But it'll scare the living shit outta you won't it. Do you really need a loaded gun in your face to make you do something? No you don't, Just like a dog doesnt need to be beaten just to learn to do something. Btw My dad seems to thing spanking the dog will make him stop craping in the house, it doesnt work.

  • @TwistedProductions99 So pleassssee, do not say hitting works because it doesnt. Also don't say abuse works and then say don't ever do it. Your sort of contradicting yourself. Not saying your a abuser yourself, but saying that it works is completely false and I shudder to think someone would think it would. Thats saying domestic abuse or any other abuse is okay when.....its not.....at all......what so ever

  • @djvirgy1 Does hitting you keep you from posting stupid comments on Youtube? Because I am willing to try that method.

  • @djvirgy1 agree...

  • Seriously who is going to put their dog in another room when someone is coming through the door? This is stupid and will not work. Get a sting collar.

  • Responsible dog owners do! "Sting" collars don't always work & they traumatize certain dogs. But that probably doesn't matter to you.

  • The key word here is it traumatizes 'certain dogs'. A responsible dog owner will analyze the situation, do the research -on the internet, talking to their vet, consulting an obedience/professional trainer- and do obedience classes and training. If all other methods fail, and the dog keeps barking, the responsible dog owner SHOULD CONSIDER a sting collar. There are also no-pain bark collars which use vibration and sound rather than shock to divert the dogs attention from barking.

  • IRRESPONSIBLE dog owners don't do any of the things you mentioned...other than throwing on a sting or shock collar & think that's the solution. It's not for all dogs!

  • @LACynthia07

Traumatize a person / neighbour long enough and see what happens to the dog. An irrisponsible owner is the cause of the problem. If you cant fix the owner, then fix the dog. Sting collars work!

  • Dogs only at someone/something that can harm him/her or your family. One time, there were 2 strangers climbed inside my house's garden and my dog barked madly and if i have ignore it, they might already get in my house and get something. Best way - let it bark!

  • You WANT your dog to bark & warn you when strangers are around. I'm not talking about stopping a dog from barking then. I'm talking about dogs that bark for other reasons & do it uncontrollably. That's a problem barker!

  • good dogs dont bark at everything thay only bark when thay need to and trust me thay no when thay need to ur dog isent dumb it knows that u wont it to shut up and it dosent cair (short attenchion maby) and that is what seperates a good dog from a worthless dog i have two dogs one is a chocklet lab and i loooooove her she is so fucking smart and i dident train her annything the outher relly isent mine but im perminent cairtacker (no one is dead) i hate that dog it dosent shut up and i beat her

  • briankeithearly

I have the same problem... My Choc Lab is the best. But my Bro Jack Russel is so fucking annoying. barks at everything! i come in the room play with my dog his dog BArks at be and wont shut up and by brother dosent do shit to him

  • you have a big problem if you get that mad about that barking thing... my dog barks a lot too but i'm not getting mad about it... tell your stupid bro to teach the dog.. or take the dog to a some kind of a dog school (or what do you call it).... and check your grammar... but never hit your dog. NEVER!

  • YOU CAN'T BEAT A DOG!!! are you an ass or something?! u belong to JAIL!!!! dumbass.... f'''king idiot!

  • also if you train your dog to "speak" you can teach it "no speak".. thats what i did.. .now the only problem is passing dogs

  • wow, great marketing.. like the scare tactic.. well done

  • it is 7:23 pm 12/6/08 my brother is so mad he might go on a rampage. i cant get my dog to stop barking. i dont want to upset my brother please help.

  • kill the damn dog

  • get a bark collar if it's that bad

  • @happydude77 lol my dog barks through his collar hes soooooooo annoying

  • omg thats graphic

  • rosy o donnel?

  • A dog in a crate barks because it's either bored, or because something outside its crate stimulates it to bark. I usually give my dog a kong to work on so it's doesn't get bored, or I cover the crate with a blanket if something outside the crate is stimulating the dog to bark.

  • so you got a dog just to put him in a crate for the rest of his life?

  • If you don't buy this book, either you'll get fined, or "they" will kill your dog.

  • fines for dogs barking !!! That's pathetic !

  • lol the pictures were funny!!!!!! haha...

    but thx, this was helpful.

  • this was informative...thanks.

  • wat if my dog barks at other dogs when he sees them? (he is a chihuahua)
