i just rented the movie 'Kaw' w/Stephen McHattie & i thought it was Lance H.but then i realized i was wrong..i always mix them up..they aren't relate, huh? haha
@aabrilamor They played brothers on "Beauty & the Beast" but aren't actually related. I used to mix them up myself before I became a huge McHattie fan. That's why I put that shot of Henriksen in near the end of this video.
@xanglat Yes, it is very intentional actually. That's a quick shot of Lance Henriksen who was once in the TV show "Beauty and the Beast" with Stephen McHattie (playing brothers). I found out that Stephen McHattie is very often mistaken for Lance Henriksen, and I've even encountered a few folks who said something to the effect of "Stephen McHattie? Oh yeah, the guy from Aliens." So I put Lance in there as a joke.
@McHattieFan I LOVE your comment. I don't care if I get any more. Just knowing that there's a user out there named "McHattieFan" who liked my video is all I need. I got so excited that I went ahead and uploaded my other Stephen McHattie video which you can see if you check out my other videos.
Both of these were created for my birthday party a few months ago which had a Stephen McHattie theme.
@greatsharkhunt I don't think it's odd at all - just very, very cool (hence the fuse blown in brain). My birthday is next month, and I've decided to treat myself to a McHattie movie-marathon. :P
@McHattieFan You should definitely do a McHattie marathon! For my party, we watched Pontypool, the two episodes of The X-Files where Stephen McHattie plays the Red Haired Man, the season 2 episode of Lexx where McHattie plays "Moss" from Potatoho (I actually own McHattie's actual screen worn Potatoho uniform from this episode!) and to conclude: the final episode of Quantum Leap where McHattie plays another time traveler. It was really fun!
@greatsharkhunt I saw those episodes of Lexx for the first time only a few months ago - they just cracked me up. Made me glad I'm not from Idaho...LOL. :D
You have his Potatoho uniform? :O Man, I'd settle for the potato masher. Or that insane hat he wore in the beginning. Hehe.
I haven't seen the episode of Quantum Leap, and unfortunately I've only seen a short clip from one of the two X-Files episodes, but they are on my list! :P
@McHattieFan I think one of the big reasons I became a serious fan of McHattie is simply finding his involvement with many different works that I connect with. Growing up Quantum Leap was perhaps my favorite TV show, and McHattie's guest role in the final episode really stood out. Unlike the many characters that appear playing random participants in history, McHattie gets to tackle the role of another time traveler, so it resonates much more.
@McHattieFan LEXX has actually become my favorite show of ALL time. Don't get me started on a LEXX rant - it'll burn down YouTube. Moss from Potatoho is such a hilarious character - - did you see him come back for a couple of episodes in season 4 as Special Agent Moss. If you haven't you've got to check that out, even if just to see McHattie administer a courtmartial where he acts as Judge, Prosecution, Defense, and Witness (all at the same time!). I really wish I had either hat too!!
@greatsharkhunt (cont) - Stephen was amazing in Pontypool. What a great performance! (I'd love to get my hands on that hat, LOL).
Pontypool is definitely on my birthday movie marathon playlist., along with the first part of A History of Violence - after the cafe scene, it's all over. (Literally..) :P
@McHattieFan I've already watched Pontypool three times since I got it on BluRay. I really love a lot about that film. It seems very clever, allowing the audience to use their imagination to build suspense rather than just dump a lot of violence into the movie. Of course, what really drives it is McHattie's performance. I love HoV for many reasons (Cronenberg is my favorite director, The Fly my second favorite film of all time) but at the McHattie marathon we watched only his scene.

Ahem sorry about that last post, hehe. It's just - how cool is that? (And why didn't I think of it?!). :P
Seriously, when I first watched this video yesterday I couldn't believe what I was watching. This is very well made and totally hilarious. :D

@McHattieFan Yeah, that is a bit odd for a theme but it seemed a lot better than perhaps dinosaurs.
