  • I thought Columbia bought out Pathe before 1929, but maybe they let them carry on in the usual way for a while. English Pathe stopped in 1928 I think.

  • Yes, As I understand it was bought in 1926, but the label worked still at swedish market until 1930 (they started to work in swedish market around 1911). As far as I know they never recorded electric recordings in Sweden or other Scandinavian country. In same time Columbia operated separatly, and did recordings in Sweden but also in London, I think that one reason was that the electric equiipments and technicians in England was so much better...
