lift leg more at least waist level...point toe too ground on kick..that will help you land on ball of foot and not heal and FOLLOW OVER..get low and use all your height and trunk turn and waist turn
Ok lots of work here.Like packers I am a big believer in a long stride and explosion. You have almost no stride. After ball release you have no foward momentum with you back leg.Your knee lift is nowhere near high enough.Your arm circles are not circular enough and your landing on your heel and rotating on it killing much needed rotaion.
their is no way this guy throws that fast u got to be kidding me 80 who u trying to full this guy probably tops out in the low 70s or u might want to get a new gun
I want to add that it's because he brings his pitching arm elbow up above shoulder height. If it was below, it'd be less stressful on the shoulder area.
And yeah, it's scientifically proven. I'm not just making stuff up
Also, I see he's scap loading. This will add a few MPH to the ball. But, it puts the joints beyond normal range of motion. Pretty much, it's putting quite a bit of stress on the arm and shoulder area.
Just focus on building more momentum and moving more explosively and the velocity will improve. It'll put the arm in a better position to throw (helps improve accuracy), and takes the stress off the arm.
Everything looks to be pretty decent, the only problem I see is that he doesn't get in a flat back position (which helps the arm decelerate more [takes more stress off the arm])
How to fix that? Move more explosively (faster) leading with the front hip. This will also increase velocity because of the increase of elastic energy.
ima post a video of my friend chris hes plays varsity hes 15. he throws 85-91 hes insane (however hes not always acurte)

how old are you?? If your younger than 16 there is no way you throw 80. Your gun might be broken. I'm 11 and I almost throw 60, true fact.

Sorry, but there are 12 year olds that throw 70

But not 80. There's no way.

you need to lift your leg a little higher to gain more velocity

Your long arming it. This will take several MPH off your pitches.

looks like you're throwing at 50% effort. Repost some full speed deliveries.

He was at 75 during this training session. At the end of the 8th grade season he was at 80.
