im trying to recall the title of this movie...this guy plays this game of chicken in the 60's, he crashes of a cliff and of course dies..well years later this guy becomes a guardian angel for this kid that only he can see! well, the guardian angel finds out that the kid he's helping is his kid! and the kid is going to make the same mistake that his father made by playing chicken on the same cliff! also the guy that helping the dead guy, rides an old bike! PLEASE HELP!!!!

but on the other hand I can see where your list comes from I sometimes love the action packed movies at time and i love also the ghostbusters, gremlins, back to the future,etc. So besides loving movies that are based on real life and what guys/girls go through today that's protrayed in those movies I also love those 80's mythical fanasy movies hence back to the future and the gremlins and YOU GOTTA LOVE DAN ACKROYD AND BILL MURRY XD one of my fave films from those besides Scrooged lol

the only movie i saw from your list is teminator i saw all of the terminator movies but the others i havent seen nor would look like i care any for most people love movies that changed the way of civilization starting from the era of the 80s like sixteen candles, the breakfast club, pretty in pink, the goonies, say anything, adventures in babysitting, dont tell mom the babysitters dead i dont know about other people but one big reason why these movies may be loved is they're based on REAL LIFE

day of the dead, ... i could go on and on.. :D My advice is if you haven't seen any of the above mentioned, then WATCH EM! they are great entertainment.and should not be missed,

At least I had two movies that I liked from this variety. And one that I would like to see but I think that I would like that. But I have really different taste than regular people. I liked Breakfast club, Scarface and I would like to see that boxing movie. Others seemed kind of boring like Terminator etc. Those storyplots are all boring and similar to me.

Just a few examples

Manhunter. (Empire) 5 star rating, (Ebert and Siskel) both a B+ rating. Time out 5 star rating

Blade Runner. Ebert gave it 4 stars A+ Rating, its actually regarded as one of the greatest Classic sci fi movies by film critics

Brazil. Time out 5 stars, Empire 5 Stars, Filmcritic. 5 Stars and many more.
