Dude... Good ship of course but this video is stupidly... Stupid! You're just proving how blobby you are. In the first fight you zoomed in on bossdrum... OMG, one man in our fleet of 5 or 6 is in half shields while we're pwning a drake into structure! HES GONNA DIE!!!! What the hell? why are you kiting a drake with null anyway? I'm much more impressed with solo ranises. Tackle vids like these don't deserve all the +1ns.
Taranis is an all time legendary ship in Eve Online. Possibly the only true "fighter" craft in the bunch, putting the other frigates to shame. Rigged properly, can zip around, plonk right on the enemy, then shred them with amazing DPS for such a little ship. Under the right circumstances, a solo kill against a battleship is quite do-able. Other interceptors have their virtues, don't get me wrong, but they just lack that "oomph" that allows you to shred bigger ships
Hi im flying a taranis atm and really want to get at flying it. Can you give me some advice how to do well against bigger ships and prevent myself not dying? At the moment my fit is 3 neutron blaters II, MWD, scram, Web and DC II. Should I get rid of web and just get an AB to go with to reduce my sig radius? Also, I noticed you bumped into the dude in the 2nd fight, why is that? I understand greatest transversal = higher chance to live, but thats about it. ANything is appreciated thx! :)
@Casemaster3000 Id drop the web and fit an ab, if you dont and you get scrammed your fcked. Went for the bump on a spur of the moment kind of thing...he wasnt attacking me so i wasnt worried about getting popped. But always keep your transversal up, stay away from recons unless you have some backup...attack faction frigs at your own risk...they will either kill you or die horribly. Thats about it...have fun =)
Haha, I kept forgeting too. So I made this giant yellow button thing out of a usb 10-key pad and it sits right in front of my face now. I should put a pic of it up on the KB. It's hard to forget now :)
