I think this bit really captures the difficulty that is inherent in trying to capture the life and exuberance of a being in the rigid confines of the 8x10 glamour shot. I am always telling Maimuno this, but she still insists on including her tail in every shot, which inevitably leads to a certain general seediness that can't fully express her talent.
I know, befb, isn't that totally impressive? Annie is so great, such a dear friend. So is my friend who took the photos, who is a PA called Mitch. But he is totally like Annie Leib. They're both very special people to me.
You know it's funny, slug, people don't make that mistake very often, but I think they should. Unfortunately I am not Meryl Streep, although our faces and abilities are indeed remarkably similar. My name is Loo, although sometimes I call myself Meryl, but only quietly.
