When I was working nights I was pulled over by police several times. They always asked where I was going and from whence I came and got annoyed when I refused to tell them, often threatening to arrest me. Eventually the only thing I ever said to them was what they say when they make an arrest, i.e: "I do not have to say ANYTHING, but it may harm my defence if I fail to mention, when questioned, something I later rely on in court".
I even began refusing to leave my vehicle, as that is my right.
