Also, if you are a victim of a violent attack, its usually over in less than a minute, cops usually take AT LEAST 10 minutes to respond.. do the math. this is why i have firearms in the home. and yes, they are kept from access by my son, but are very easy to reach by me if needed.... the joys of a keypad operated gun locker..

I like all of the facts that go with this video... Wait... THERE ARE NONE! Everyone can have an opinion. His (Isaiah's) and "MomAgainstGuns" opinions don't seem to be based on facts and on any laws. "Old gun laws don't address the problems that we have today." Okay. Where is an example? I am a Marine vet and a PA gun owner. I carry almost everyday. I have never shot anyone. Guns are needed in some situations, trust me.

Criminals are individuals that have decided to break the law.

Idiocies, I mean governments, have decided to go after the TOOLS used for law-breaking. The tools are the same ones used for self-defense. So idiocies have banned the law-abiding from having them or using them for defense?

When will you learn that all the gun laws in the world will not stop criminals from obtaining firearms? It's great that you care, but all of your work is in vain. Law abiding citizens buy their guns at gun shows and gun stores. Criminals buy their guns in basements and from the trunk of a gun runner's car.

I wouldin't use the term assault weapon so loosely, assault weapons by defenition are fully automatic and fully automatic weapons are restricted and VERY expensive to obtain.

I'm sorry I detest gun violence too but you also say that airsoft guns and other replica guns can be changed into real guns.I'm sorry that is not possible has your group acknowledged that yet? Airsoft guns do not have a firing pin in real guns and they are made of softer alloys that cannot support the explosion of a bullet inside a real steel gun. Please the banning of airsoft guns is unnecessary and its a common sport that many people play. There is even a petition in defense of airsoft online.

Old gun laws unfortunately don't address the problem that we have today -- illegal guns are out of control in Pennsylvania and we need ways to let law enforcement track and find them and the criminals to reduce the shootings and killings.

@MomsAgainstGuns criminals do NOT follow laws... making them stricter has been proven to not work. the states and cities with the strictest anti gun laws also have the highest crime. the states and cities with the most relaxed gun laws tend to have some of the lowest crime. Dont believe me? look up FBI statistics.

Agreed, icetrout2, unfortunately the defunct mom's against guns doesn't get it. We live in a society where the gun issue has become so inflated that we can't stop to realize the crime that has been committed before us. As long as there are people, there will always be crime.
