  • May those who have lost their way find peace

  • boddhichita precous and sublime

where it has not arisen may it be born

and where it has been born may it never dminish

but continue to flourish day by day

  • obrigada por isso!!!

  • unconditional love for all and universal peace <3

  • cool voice

  • The doctrine of emptiness is simply that all things are empty of independent existence - meaning that all things exist because of countless causes and conditions both inside and outside of the object - each with their own set of countless causes and conditions. This applies to all things including people. The mantra here is the mantra of compassion. If you recite it and keep the goal of unlimited compassion in your mind, then the mantra will help you to attain that goal.

  • @TaylorWilliamMillar Great explanation

  • @TaylorWilliamMillar Simply, everything depends on something else for it's existence...

  • It's not emptiness or nothingness. It's just an absence of resistance. To live our lives as fully as we can to contribute to creation. So many gods in the world, and that's only because man made god in his image, and there are so many images.

But the Goddess of Mercy resonates with me. :)

  • shaking the three worlds ....

  • shaking the three worlds ....

  • To all those who lacked of good mentors. May they still find hope and positive guidance in life.

  • May all beings realize the power of this mantra and instantly reach its result.

    Thank you for sharing this!!!

  • mantras keep mind grounded n focused.

  • All mantras, mandelas, yantras etc, serve to focus our attention on mindfulness of the present moment, the only time we really have. Living in the world of " ten thousand things" we tend to exist in a sleepwalking state. There are a million distractions pulling at our attention, and we get so caught up that we don't taste our food, don't see the beauty around us, dont feel the warmth of the sun, don't hear the birds sing, dont smell the flowers. Chanting brings us back to the present moment.

  • What happens when I recites " OM MANI PADME HUM " - I 've recited it many many times. what would happen ?

    It seems like nothing's happening.

  • @bigfatdick5000

What do you want to happen?

  • @bigfatdick5000 : it helps me to relax and gives energy when I'm depressed.

  • @halivudestevez Continue to listen to teh mantra :-)

  • @bigfatdick5000 Like any meditation practice, patience is necessary. If you had chanted the mantra carefully 1,000 times a day for a year, and still felt nothing at all, I would worry then. Otherwise, don't worry, everything is proceeding naturally. Let go of any expectations, because they make it hard to let go and just be with the present moment, however that is. Focus not on trying to attain anything, but rather on the sound vibration you make, let it fill your awareness, and relax. :)

  • @bigfatdick5000 Personally, I chant it from time to time, on beads. One mantra per bead. It's not my main practice (I do breathing mostly), but I find it useful to just calm the mind, with faith in the positive energy it represents (wisdom and compassion). Also if you chant with the intention that 'by this chanting may beings in states of sorrow find relief', I've found it can help in feeling less helpless about some of the awful things we see on the news. It can be used as a prayer for peace.

  • @bigfatdick5000 ... "nothing" is always happening...

  • @Mushin001

Good wisdom answer, you can elaborate though :-)

  • @allinthemind see Heart Sutra ... all experience "is" and "is not" ... that is why you have "sound of one hand clapping" as basic koan ... you have created the narrative of your life out of nothing ... nothing is the substrate ... narrative is the illusion ... all to be held with love & compassion ...

  • @allinthemind

Sorry to barge in. Everything is from nothing and nothing is basis of everything?

  • @dan01 Yes, that's close to what Buddhist teachings say. The only change I would make is not to use the word "nothing" and use the word "Emptiness."

Emptiness cannot be misinterpreted as nihilistic to the extent that "nothingness" can.

Realizing "nothing" is not the ultimate view, "realizing emptiness" is what your referring to.

If anyone could add to this, that'd be great. I'm not the best Buddhist student :)

    - Allinthemind

  • @allinthemind

Oh I see, thanks for the reply. :)

  • @allinthemind I can add, that by emptiness it is meant empty OF... empty of negative emotions for example

  • In the beginning of the creation of all things, there was No Thing. the Great Mystery which is the source of all life. this is the so-called "dark energy" that makes up 96% of everything (we can only see 1%) Into the infinite void was born the Thing Itself: the One who is above all. for 1.42 seconds, the greater countenance alone existed, then the Lord and the Lady, Yang/Sun and Yin/Moon, male and female created It them. their child, the Son of the One, is the Big 6 in the sky Jesus/Odin/Krishna

  • @bigfatdick5000 actually om mani padme hum is more of forcing to rid all bad and evil spirtis away :)

  • @bigfatdick5000 miniment 100000 times with concentration

  • @bigfatdick5000 Do you know what those words mean? If you don't, then nothing probably happened... this technique is called auto suggestion. This is part of meditation. Basically, if you hear something a lot, you will start to believe it... so if you keep on telling yourself good things, you can alter your thinking pattern, and this will change your personality and reflect in real life. Similar to the law of attraction and the power of positive thinking... hope this helps bigfatdick5000.

  • Obrigado pela partilha:):)

  • @declanring

    Well said!

  • @declanring and be happy !

  • Look into your own Heart.

    Evil begets Evil.

    Demon Heart inspired Demon Words.

Let Peace n Compassion into Your Heart.

  • @momlily

Our thoughts lead to words, our words lead to action. Our actions can lead unwholesome deeds and cause negative karma. If this is true, so is the opposite; cultivating virtue. How we do this, we can see how evil begets evil and that good begets good.

If with an impure mind one speaks, suffering will surely follow like the ox pulling the cart. If with a pure mind one speaks and behaves, happiness shall follow like one's own shadow. (Dhammapada)

  • Everyone is inspired by everything which he/she experiences, and unfortunately, we are all accosted by demons in our lives. So yeah, you are right. Thumbs up!

  • Good response to the comment "Demon Like"

I usually approve every message on here within reason because people have a right to say what they want to say, butI had to remove the thread (all the backlash) because it was getting many people upset but felt inspired to leave this constructive reply. Thanks.

  • Thank you for you and the extraordinary blessing of this video. I am blessed by it.

  • joecota - based on what exactly..?

  • It's Good, but Lotus Sutra is all base buddhist.

    Says: NAM MYOHO RENGUE KYO

It's true mantra of Mappo era (Era atual do mundo).

To go SAYS that mantra universal.

    Nitiren daishonin mappo Buddha.

    Pratice equal time of world.

Now NAM MYOHO RENGUE KYO HAS VALUE.

    HUGS.

  • please send it to me as a video response to this and i'll be happy to accept it :)

  • @allinthemind

HI! i was wondering what is being said before the mantra itself? :)

  • @IamMarzupial I'm not quite sure, I'm guessing that it's a preliminary prayer requesting blessings or something, developing renunciation, or boddhichitta?

  • Lama Tashi, Lama Tashi, Yes Oh Yes !

  • wonderful, thank you for posting this.

May you and all beings be well and happy, safe and free. May all know th eeasing and end of suffering and the causes of suffering.

  • Like a precious jewel amongst the sand, Compassion,

    Radiating and healing,

May all beings be free from suffering.

  • Can someone explain this to me? These mantras, are you supposed to chant them while meditating? Excellent video, though. I love the fade in effect that you did on Avalokiteshvara.

  • Well, you can chant them whenever you want. During meditation your usually concentrating and contemplating certain things quietly, but before you contemplate you can receive blessings by reciting prayers.

It may also vary from tradition to tradition.

If you have more questions just msg me.

    Glad you liked the video!

  • Chant it in your mind, chant it aloud, or just be silent and observe the loving healing vibrations.. whichever you prefer.. because either of them will have a profound effect if you allow it!

  • nice, can i get the copy of this

  • Wonderful ...

  • Fascinating Vocals and inspiring moments of peace,I am a listener of other kind of things but this has given me something to think about my inner self, I feel very well after listening to, thanks a lot for posting it.

  • You Tube and the willingness of others to put beauty such as this on You Tube....such a miracle. Can it not help but lift consciousness to "the benefit of all".

  • Thank you allinthemind. So powerful mantra. So the light of Dharma still show you the way.

    With Metta.

  • Would recommend another Great Mantra in You tube search under " The Mantra of Attaining Eternal Birth" Good video clip with wonderful music and lyrics for easy learning

  • This one is GREAT!

  • Love the collection of videos. Curiously, the Tibetan is not "om mane padme hum" but "om mane peme hum" which is what Lama Tashi is chanting and what we use in the Kagyu Samye Dzong

  • Thank you for that! Unfortunately I cannot change the video at this point but will make special note of this under the information.

Fortunately, most viewers of this particular video are based in countries that use that spelling.

    Thanks again and happy meditating!

  • WOWSERS!!

  • if you think reciting this mantra is all you need to do to become enlightened:that might be true for you!But for most people,a little more effort may be in place. For example, join your local Sangha, meditate regularly, and review all your actions critically.Example: are you downloading copyrighted software/films/books?It's stealing and it'll enhance clinging, narrow your mind. Are you using drugs/alcohol/meat?Be honoust; while chanting, do something to bring more love and peace into this world!

  • erm... y is the voice so deep???

  • Its a technique that a few people have mastered called dual vocals. Its apart of the Tibetan monks training.

  • the mantra might be reciting the whole essence, but repeating the mantra it self is not enough.

  • not enought for what? To become enlightened? To have a positive effect of it? Not enough depends on what you think should be done. I think every individual has a unique path, a unique task ahead in becoming enlightened. If your remark is meant to stimulate people to increase their effort in their spiritual practice, I fully agree with you. But be careful: The spiritual path is not a task, nor is it an achievement or something that has a predefined shape or demand equal for all practitioners.

  • Thanks for sharing this Peter-Wouter!

    I really enjoyed it.

  • Enchanting, very powerful!

  • fab and relaxing. I needed it. Thanx

  • avalokitesvara is not yet a buddha, he had attain enlightenment, but was vow to stay to safe all sentient being, so he is now a bodhisattva, until his vow is fulfill then he shall attain buddhahood

  • ok, thank you

  • hank you for the information. I changed the name to Treasury of Compassion instead of Buddha of Compassion

  • In the practice of Vajrayana, if you regards Avalokitesvara as Buddha, then you will get the blessing equals to Buddha. But if you think He is a Boddhisattva, then you will get a blessing of Boddhisattva. But Tibetan Buddhism always regard Avalokitesvara as Buddha of Great Compassion and Manjusri as Buddha of Wisdom.

  • actually, avelokitesvara not yet a buddha, he still a boddhisatva

  • how come 4 mins into it, my dogs started to protest =(

  • funny, my dogs did that too...then they calmed down. Interesting.

  • Thank you! That was very relaxing and intense!

  • Can't wait for Tara next!!!

  • It is a deep deep chant , sort of resonates inside your body eh?

  • too low, i think.

    Glad you enjoyed it!
