i live in ky,.in a fairly sm. town and we have a no kill shelter but still they need help with food. i take $100 in dog food down every month and have saved several unwanted dogs in my life time. i cant bare to watch any more of these vids it breaks my heart. God bless and help all the poor animals that slip through the cracks. and for people who abuse them remember someone is always watching even up above.

I live in Marietta, OH. And our so-called "humane" society animal shelter forces the dogs to stay in cages in their own filth up to 20 hours a day...They do not have a vet on staff to do the spay-neuter program, nor to treat the animals of injuries, illness, etc.

Marietta's humane society is NOT as it should be.

Musicworm101, It's sometimes even worse than the video depicts. We just had to keep the video politically correct. Because small children sometimes see You Tube, we deliberately tried to get the point across without the blood and gore we have actually seen in our local shelters. I too volunteer my time and money to shelters and "No Kill Shelters" in my area as I wish everyone did.

@VisionPublishing It's actually difficult to find pet food that DOESN'T have rendered pets in it. When I was a vet tech, every week I let the rendering man in the back door. He'd clear out the freezer and closet---where the "excess" euthanized animals were stacked. The animals were full of phenobarbitol, cancer, parvo, feline leukemia, and all the meds used to treat them. They are ground up, boiled, then sold to pet food companies. Do your research! Thanks Aid, We try to only produce Videos that mean something. The philosophy is that "If you can't be of help to others, then why are you here at all? In the USA animals like cats and dogs are slaughtered by the thousands every day just because people are to lazy or they just don't care. It sucks!
