Logicbeatslides, First of all, Japan did not break a international agreement of whale hunt. If they said research or hunt, it is their choice, not yours. I do not see anything wrong as long as they keep number of whale they hunt. Austlaria used to have so call "white Australia" policy for long time, and only attackin Japanese not European...it is easy to imagin "RACISM" behind it. On top of that, they killed all Tasmanian Tigers and unique to Australia.

The fisheries union is run by Yakuza and recently the head of the department killed himself after being caught embezzling the funds.

The action of Japan is always reasonable against the results from scientific research. Only 8000 of the bowhead whales in the world and this is the truely endangered species. Being the minority or only the 67 whales can't be the excuse to get it. I wonder why anti whaling countries can agree to them. If you can permit that as sustainable, you will lose your claim against humpback research hunting. I want you to know the basic knowledge of the whale numbers of each kinds.
