and "the famous real life baldies" were never bald they all slick back their hairs in the 70s i dont remember the actual story of why the were called the baldies but 1 of the original members last name was baldie but they shaved their heads for this movie just to make sense for the time being. a lot of these gangs got wiped out when they got sent to vietnam but til this day the ducky boys are still hanging out around the bronx botanical gardens pond and the housing projects.

I read somewhere that the Ducky Boys were actually an Irish gang, which makes some sense, because in the movie you see them in what looks like a Catholic Church.
