The scene at 1:26, where Gary is lighting Phoebe's cigarette...just how beautiful is she? Absolutely stunning. I think both men and women dressed a lot nicer back then. Ladies really were ladies, and men were far more sophisticated. God I sound so old fashioned, I'm only 24 lol.

I always forget Dervla Kirwan is Irish when I watch this, she's so good at playing the cockney girl. Phoebe & Gary are the cutest couple.

What a great series its my fourth time round with them. Remembering some episodes like "jack the ripper" "dads army one" "Gary's duplication one" (not the actual names), are some of the memories. Anyone reading this watching these for the first time are going to really enjoy going through all these. Thanks for uploading them!!!

It's called "Anything Goes" from a musical of the same name, written by Cole Porter. Many different people have sung it. :)

@BluntedKillah If you mean the last song - the one that the girl says he can dance with her for a smooch - it's called Love Is The Greatest Thing. There is a 70's version by Peter Skellern. Anything Goes the other song was recorded by , Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald - the list is endlesss.

yvone and baby david come back to 1994 yvone a little earlyer though he has to put the air raid tape on and baby david getts blown through with gary when a bomb goes of down duckets lane but them meeting in the past and commander bond is a dream i think im not too sure

@CoRRupTioN1986 isnt in a dream that the two woman meet? gary has some funny dreams, in one rolf harris appears next to gary while he plays the piano.i thought that was when phoebe goes in to the future. the only person who actually travels forward in time is michael, gary and phoebe's child when a bomb goes off

I wouldn't know because I mostly stopped watching once Dervla Kirwan left the show.

I love this program - I was born just after the War, but so many things in the 1940s segments are things I remember from my childhood. Actually, I get quite bored when the modern stuff is on the screen. There was a lot of research went into thi show, the sociology, language structures, sets, clothes and so on. Can you imagine how crap it would have been if the Americans had made it?
