@spacecowboy95 .. you obviously know nothing about these birds.. they won't just die off, they are scavengers and can eat garbage alone and live for years, and their reproduction rate if very high.. you have to do what you can, you should see here in chatham, ontario.. we are the highest crow pop. in the world, they migrate here every year... they ARE a nuisance and MUST be controlled..LEARN before posting
these birds kill and eat new born Lambs or maybe remove the eye from the mother while she's in labour.So... YES, there VERMIN and need to be controlled. We never hesitate to assist the Farmers while their Lambing is happening. Simple Fact..Lamb would go up so much in price, but behind the scene is people like us..helping control these killers. and ty for your comments.
this setup looks amazing. I have been looking for aa good motion decoy and that looks like a great one. I would love to have birds come in that low in our sets. where we hunt the birds get shot at so much its alot tougher, but congrats on the great hunting!
@315Rosi Look on ebay for a pigeon magnet, thats what we were using but with carrion crows on it. We dont have the need to call much as they come right in anyway.. Cheers for your coments..Mike

Such a fucking stupid way to solve this problem, shooting crows for attempting to survive like any other creature isn't going to stop them. there will always be more. This is just a fucking excuse for small pricked gunslingers to go out and shoot something.
@spacecowboy95 Its good to shoot crows, there is a reason for shooting them other than its fun, yes i did say fun now deal with it. You should go get a gun, get off your ass, shut up moaning on youtube and contribute to crow shooting. I think you will find there is more to it than meets the eye, and shooting does include skill not just "gun slinging" it also includes setting up a convincing decoy pattern which again needs experience and skill.
Shut the fuck up animal fucker, you dont know shit about shit. Someone should punch you like a punch bag. Keep killin them crows boys, they are evil little corvid fuckers. Not that any noodle arm fruits would know that
Ive seen a sheep with its eye pecked out by crows. Believe me its not a pretty sight. Aswell as having to see her Lamb standing over her wondering why she wont get up. All i can say is the next time i go crow shooting im not gonna be missing many. Me and a the farmer i work for managed to get about 10 the 2 times we went out. I know its not a great number but its 10 less eye pluckeds than before!!!
Find a job on a farm for a while and see how crows and pigeons will massacre a field of barley if you leave them to it. I have seen it, why don't you? Otherwise please do not comment on things without finding out first.
@jem1003 Why don't you try training the crows not to massacre your poor barley? It's really not difficult. Do a little fucking research into these birds before leaving a comment.
Another call from a Farmer. He has lost 6 Lambs to Carrion Crows so far this Spring. A team of guns went out at dusk to get the birds coming into roost in nearby woods. 12 Carrions were shot. another good job done by Alan and the team.
it makes me laugh how people who don't agree with shooting carry on watching these videos. There is no need for a townies opinion. Just fuck off go back to your television!
@tewka2003..thanks for the info, keep up the good work. Without chaps such as yourselves there would be little in the country side for the "others" to see and drool over, such as song birds and "bunnywunnies". Long may you, your son and other sensible people continue to do their bit.
ok really y do ppl watch videos that clearly are about hunting, just to flame the publisher about lack of morals and stuff. if some1 is against it and is watching the video doesnt that mean they have no morals or somethin? i love to hunt and while i dont kill stuff i wont eat i really dont give a damn about killing some old crows.
@nirvana..Have you actually seen the aftermath of pigeons feeding unchecked in farmers fields? Or blind lambs after crows have plucked their eyes out? Or foxes tearing partly born lambs from their mothers bodies? I have. Do not presume the right to tell me what to do. How you amuse yourself is of no consequence to me until you interfere with my life. I am not your brother nor do I desire to be. Go back to your world of "peace and love" and let the real world get on with it.
@tewka2003 your welcome. Who ARE these "plastic people" and what do they expect to see when they watch a video entitled "crow shooting"? They ought to stick to clutching crystals and smoking ganja, and leave "Real people" alone.
Good to see your son carrying on country sport traditions.
@Nirvana1923. "Killing is not a human action"? If humans did not kill animals as a source of food and method of control, you would not be here .YOUR ancestors would have died out long ago. If the reality of nature is so distressing for you, why not sit under a pyramid and chant a Mantra until you feel better? Then watch what is more suitable for you. May I suggest "The magic roundabout"?

and why shoot them? are living beings. I'll tell you one thing: a warm summer evening I saw a dog walking in my yard, I brought water and food, the day after he came near me and licked my hand as if to tell me "thank you". I'm sorry when they kill the animals. are some animals are annoying and provoke fear, but killing is not a human action
@Nirvana1923 Fucking idiots living in cities think they know best. try farming and planting crops then see pigeons and crows strip it in a day. Crows are mucky bastard things anyway but pigeons are tasty.
Looks like an expensive spread of crow decoys. Must be a rich man's sport. I have a 10 dollar mouth crow call and only two decoys. I don't want to get into hundreds of dollars to put meat on the table, which is my main purpose in hunting. I know it's good wingshooting practice and they are vermin that need thinning out, but I don't wanna break the bank. Anybody have any tips for crow hunting on a shoestring? You guys are super accurate, btw!!!
@katapultsmash i made my own decoys. try it just be creative in what you use. i used a water bottle, covered it in black cloth, added feathers. made a head out of a styrofoam ball, made a paper beak and it looks fantastic. just see what you can think of. another good idea is paper mache as a base
@stickcreator528 That sounds easy enough. Come to think of it, I have some old crow Halloween props in storage. They're smaller but they'll do the trick. Might be a good idea to grab a few on clearance after next Halloween is over! Thanks for the tips!
@stickcreator528 "woman" ;) Hunting is a man's sport, no doubt about it. It's tough to get the help and advice you need to get started...especially when you have no men in your family who are knowledgeable about it. I guess I can only turn to youtube!!!! But beggars can't be choosers can they? LOL!
Never thought of using a whirly to draw crows and rooks, but the pattern obviously worked well, despite the superb eyesight of the corvids. Do you ever take them with a rifle while feeding? Another way and helps get to those that just aren't confident enough to decoy. Plus 200yd corvid culling always raises a lilltle smile in me.
@ratreaper07 we do use a rifle sometimes for shooting the Carions. But leave that mainly for the longer shots when they are sat amongst the sheep. and of course its fitted with a silencer. Cheers for your remarks
Blade, we just stick them out at about 30 yards, facing into the wind. We always make a pattern with a space so any birds coming in the the decoys have room to land.
