  • 8 dislikes, one for each batsmen and one from Curtley for not taking more!

  • each one of them disliked this video.......!!!

  • actually the 7 dislikes are from the 7 batsmen themsleves .... Just cannot imagine these kind of bowling figures these days Unbelievable AMBROSE!!!!

  • भारताला आज अशा गोलंदाजांची गरज आहे. १२० करोडच्य या देशात किमान १० गोलंदाज मिळायला काहीच हरकत नाही ? फक्त B.C.C.I ची इच्छा

    शक्ती हवी आहे.

  • @343230098300 what?

  • that spell won them the series

  • No prizes for guessing who the 7 people who disliked it are.

  • @tupaki786 LOL AMBROSE BACK GAYLE

Please log on to: lgpeopleschoice (dot) com (use the symbol for dot instead in the browser - should be one word) and vote for CHRIS GAYLE to become the ICC People's Choice Award for the year 2011.

Fans, he has been through a lot and this would definitely help him to win over the WICB directors heart to bring him back in the WI team.

    HELP HIM. Vote now!

He is the first WI to score over 300 runs in an innings outside of the Caribbean. Remember 333.

  • @porthpatho sachin, dravid, laxman will bat till they are 50 or even more because you need serious skills, confidence , physical and mental stability,,, which i am sure that they have tons of that energy . not any other team have that i am afraid

  • @desijattpunjabi2001 lookin' good lookin' good

  • Ofcourse Ambrose, Walsh and Bishop were amazing bowlers. Best wishes for them. From: Pakistan ...

  • Believe u me, If WICB can get their act right what a squad they have :

Batters : Gayle, Edwards, Barath, Sars, Chanders, DM BRAVO, Nash, Simmons..

Fast Bowlers: Roach, Edwards, Taylor (All 90+mph), Rampaul, Powell

All rounders : Sammy, Bravo, Pollard

    Spinners : Bishoo, Benn, Martin

  • 2 things - 1. There will never be a cricket side more feared than the Windies of the 80's & 2. 7 for 1 is unbelievable against any team, but to do it against the Aussies at the height of their success is absolutely stunning

  • Man alive. What. A. Spell.

  • Ambrose always enjoyed destroying aussies,

one of the tallest and greatest fast bowler ever period

  • best bowling ever

  • Damn I wish we had a team like this one instead of the shitty ass side we have now. Imagine West Indies selectors still selected proven failures like Devon Smith, Marlon Samuels, Kirk Edwards, and of course the captain Darren Sammy, whilst leaving out players like Sarwan, Gayle and Chanderpaul. No wonder West Indies cricket stinks!

  • Sad to see windies go from this to the poor excuse for a team playing pakistan at the moment.

  • I'm guessing the Windies overcame the 'blow to their hopes' Carl Hooper's absence brought. Ambrose was just about unplayable that day, Border was in good nick to get an edge on that!!!

  • dirty indians wont rule for long got no real talent pool cant see aussies back top for while sf reign soon

  • @TheRobbo1982 well you have to wait for another 4 yrs, dog vomit !! Last I heard, aussies the pussies even lost to Pakistan. LOL

  • Sorry truth only but ghambhir is not even in the same league as bradman.

  • Yes because gambler has averaged nearly 100 on sticky wickets which were uncovered. Oh wait no he hasn't. He is playing in an era with the most batsmen friendly wickets going around. Plus bowling attacks which have been reduced by rule changes designed to make batting easier.

  • WS Laxman

    VVS Laxman

    Haha!

  • Pfft...Tendulkar would have tamed Ambrose.

  • @elitedjmix lolzzzzzz

  • the three people that disliked this video were waugh, boon, and border

  • @elitedjmix make it 5 ponting n clarke jst saw da video :P

  • @elitedjmix So now they cloned themselves or what?

  • WooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooW Respect Ambroooooooooooooooooooooooooooose man......U were the real bowler of all time...

  • @MrDonNz1 So true. All-time legend.

  • AMBROSE greatest bowler in crickets history ever, and will remain forever

  • FCK UR SACHIN AND BORRING DRAVID ,,,ALL INDIAN CRICKETS R BORRING ,,,,PLAYERS LIKE CURTLY AMBORE.,WAQAR YOUNIS,DEAN JONES.BORDER,MALCOM MARSHAL WERE GOOD TO WATCH...ALL INDIAN CRICKETS R BORRING AND FAT....

  • @kamal3372 R u dumb? i accept marshall, ambrose, border etc, were gr8 players bt indians like sachin , sehwag , dhoni are legends, and you are a damn idiot who keeps on bugging racial comments, so stupid think twice b4 u post ur comments

  • @kamal3372 R u dumb? i accept marshall, ambrose, border etc, were gr8 players bt indians like sachin , sehwag , dhoni are legends and they are rated as most exciting cricketers, and who cares about your fckin comments and you are a damn idiot who keeps on bugging racial comments, so stupid think twice b4 u post ur comments

  • @kamal3372 @ u said everything in ur comment,ur motherfucking paki !!!!!

    ha ha ha ha ha

  • @kamal3372 @ aapni maa ko chod ke aapne baapo ko saalam karta hai

    paki suvar

  • wat the score for aus???

  • @TheHemananth

they lost this match before youtube was registered so dont worry about score lol

  • This was the glory-era of cricket. The others used to tremble with fear when they heard 'West Indies.'

It's funny that whenever Ambrose is bowling, the keeper and all the slips are so far back that it looks like they are in a different areacode!

  • @youandyamum Flintof in your list surprise me mate

  • I saw this on tv as it happened. Tony Greig had rubbished Ambrose before this spell. Didn't hear much from him after this. I've watched test cricket since '75. I hadn't seen anything like this before, haven't seen anything like this since. I struggle to pick my top 5 pace bowlers. Ambrose is never left out of my lists. Can't choose between Lillee, Roberts, Garner, Holding, McGrath, Thommo, Marshall, Khan, Dev, Reid, Flintoff, Donald, etc etc

  • i pity 4 wi...

once their team was dressed up by such a deadly bowlers n now they r lacking dat spl quality of them

  • steven finn

  • Great Spell - boring commentry

  • Just awesome !!

  • west indies were best australia is now i get the feeling another shift of power to either sa or india or pakistan

  • India may be at the top, but I doubt it will be for long, unless Tendulkar, Dravid want to bat til they are 50.

  • true but gambhir has the highest average of 09 followed by sehwag also cricket is a team sport not a person sport so yeah i mean india rarely plays as a team i agree usually a one man or 2 man show like sachin's 175 against australia

  • @porthpatho78 haha well said i think they might be playing for a year more, maybe

  • @porthpatho78 Kohli, Raina, Sehwag, Yusuf Pathan, Yuvraj Singh will make you eat your words when we win the world cup next year!!

  • @sensational1982 You make two incorrect assumptions. One that I give a crap about one day cricket. Two that one day cricket involves something more than just a lottery (although it at leasts involves more guile than that bore-fest 20-20).

I dont count Australias world cup success highly, I do however count our status as the number one test team for over 10 years highly.

  • @porthpatho78 : vow, so refreshing to hear such comments about the beauty called Test Cricket !

  • @porthpatho78 You are wrong. The new Tendulkar: Gautam Gambhir, new Dravid: VVS Laxman, power batsman of India: Sehwag. The list is not too big, but even a small list of great batsman of the India team can support India in the number 1 spot.

  • @WhatElseExceptNature

Laxman is 36 so I wouldnt expect him to play for too much longer. Sehwag is good, Gambhir I'd grant you if he was better outside of India. So fundamentally two batsmen.

  • @porthpatho78 There will be more to come - you never know, some may beat Sachin or Lara in terms of records decades later from now... but finding the gems for the team is the hardest thing to do,and that is when the team goes from hero, to zero. Examples: Current Australia, West Indies, and New Zealand (or also Pakistan) - in the journey of finding new players to replace the retired, legends, they all dropped in rankings. Opposite for India,Sri Lanka, and England - they found and fixed their gems

  • @WhatElseExceptNature You can't say that for India, given they still have the older players in the team. Wait til everyone quits, and more pressure is put on the "gems". As happened to Australia.

  • @porthpatho78 True. Very true. I don't think Australia have any chance of claiming this world cup, despite their WI win streak, since they have absouletely no solid player to depend on right now, except maybe Watson, Johnson, and Haddin. India though, have a big chance since they have many of their old players left, and same for SL and England - and also South Africa. Bangladesh are on the verge of going from zero to hero in my opinion - especially with Shakib equipped. I am just predicting.

  • @WhatElseExceptNature So no solid players apart from the solid players you mentioned. Nice logic.

  • @porthpatho78 3 solid players aren't enough for a World Cup win. This being said changes the sarcasm in your comment to a compliment - thank you, porthpatho78.

  • @WhatElseExceptNature

Actually they probably are given how much of a lottery one day internationals are. Which is why I won't be watching.

  • @porthpatho78 That's your opinion. First time, an OPINION is incorrect...keep them opinions to yourself. I will be watching with pleasure.

  • @porthpatho78 WTF You are doubting Gambhir's skills outside India.

He has already saved tests single handedly in NZ and SA

    You are Dumb

  • @TruthOnly142 Holy crap saved tests in NZ and SA, brilliant he's the next Bradman. Oh wait.

Plus the only insult you can come up with is you are dumb? Damn it I miss the old days where Indians used to insult Aussies by saying you are all convicts.

  • @porthpatho78 Well Bradman never played against a full strength non -english side ever.

So yeah Gambhir is better than the so called bradman.

But you did not make any point which would help your argument. Rather you concentrated all your energies on the word 'dumb'. Guess thats the best one can expect from a 16 yr old posing as a 32 tr old. You can write me back after at least 5 years.

  • @porthpatho78 are you a little girl with ponytails

are u even a aussie, i know you are 16, but for an aussie you are quite a letdown.

calling you an invertebrate will be an understatement.

  • @TruthOnly142 That was random. It took you three weeks to think that? Had to pry yourself away from your call centre job?

  • @porthpatho78 Had to stick your ass to give you the drive to walk two steps.

You can even breath without my help can you, little girl

  • @porthpatho78 I didnt know you aussies were so mild blooded

  • @porthpatho78 dravid already out of ODI squad and young players like yuvaraj, gambhir, raina playing well (atleast in the world cup), india growing srong, even minimum populated countries like australia can produce such players, why do u think a overpopulated country like us can't produce atleast on the base of probability?. no offense but am jus pointing out certain points here, and dont blame me for being indian (after all am enjoying this game as an escape from all these political corruptions)

  • @octobermadhan Good points there in terms of population. But I also notice that another is needed for production of players and at the moment Australia has issues. A good example in India is its decline in hockey. You guys used to be the dominant power in world hockey, but now declined I think to about 8th in the world. Simply because of lack of infrastructure.

  • @porthpatho78 i accept that ppl here had a craze on cricket even some of players done some extraordinary things in chess, tennis, weightlifting, hockey, badminton, kabadi, ppl even recognize it all, thats a curse of indian sports.

  • @porthpatho78 as far as infrastructure we didnt have it all, even in our family system expects us to grow up with ur parents , study well , get rankings, get a handsome job, marry gal and reapeat the same wat the parent's did, there is no adventurous life of being in ur dreams atleast especially in ur carrier, except cricket there is no infrastructure for any sport in india(except the rich ones). i admire those players who were sticked on their decisions and living on their dreams.

  • @porthpatho78 look at the indian batsmen that are coming through, they have a bigger reserve of batsmen than australia does in convicts

  • @UglyCheapGujji Knew someone couldn't get by without a convict comment. Thats cool, proudly descended from convicts, the beauty of our country is it allows you to jump castes.

  • @porthpatho78 im from England, im a BRITISH Indian. We dont believe in that shit here, and FYI, the caste system in India has been abolished.

  • @UglyCheapGujji So has the convict system in AUstralia, but then you brought that up first, so what was your point?

  • @porthpatho78 India will stay at the top, they have a limitless supply of batsmen, thats not a problem, however the bowling department needs help

  • @porthpatho78 add laxman to that tally too

  • @porthpatho78 So there are no other good players? /sarcasm

  • @porthpatho78 : tendulkar nd dravid are still playin nd still india is at top.. world champions wid sachin nd no one test playin nation wid dravid nd sachin...

  • @burningjelly4lyfe

    pakistan???lol

  • CEL Ambrose. Great bowler indeed. It would be interesting to have him play test cricket in this era though, facing batsmen like Ponting, Yousuf, Sangakkara etc. I think Tendulkar has played Curtley but I don't have memories of such an encounter.

  • He would killed them. The modern players are not use to pace and bounce. The players you mention are not much better than their predecessors, who you probably did not see. For Ponting (Border). Yousuf (Miandad) and so on. Same hight and same technique. See "Pace Like Fire". Pace, Heigt and Bounce is a vicious cocktail!!

  • Ambrose the destroyer will the windies ever have another tall fast bowler ever ever?

  • i really want the west indies to be good again. please keep playing cricket and fuck all the american bollocks west indies we all loved you when you were the best

  • Thats very true. Every one loved west inidies when they were at best,Which Australia lacked to win hearts though they won matches.

  • If ever there was an abject lesson on how to bowl at the WACA, then this is it.

Perfect length for a very tall man and he was getting steep bounce in the corridor outside off-stump. If you notice Mark Waugh, Border and the others really had to play at those balls, resulting in an edge.

Healy getting out to a 'walking prod forward' is legendary as well! Great bowling, sir..

  • he is tall and good pace and wat can i say about he is on fire..............

  • khaney Perth is a fucking great pitch dont diss it u cant get a better pith than the WACA so learn cricket u tosser

  • this guy would single-handedly demolish an entire team. We need this kind of bowler back in the WI team. Bless up

  • Quite true bud. I am Indian and used to be so scared of this guy and Walsh. I would pray to God that somehow our batsmen just tolerate these two. I would definitely like to see such talents in WI again. In fact I dont see any such pace attack anywhere now-a-days.

  • faaast

  • 7 for 1??

    check 1:46 = Ambrose 12.4 overs, 6 maidens, 1 for 22

  • 7 for 1 in 1 spell cuz not for the whole innings

  • means 1 run was scored between the first wicket and teh 7th

  • yaah but this 1 is for spell ,in that spell he considered only one, Yet Abross was the greatest

  • check at 4:17 when the commentator said 6 for 1

  • i dont want this to sound racist because that is not my intend but i have faced a few black bowlers and i find with the red ball it is hard to see out the hand. Does anyone agrees

  • Dean Jones certainly agreed, only it was the wrist bands with the white ball that did him in.

  • Only racists will agree. and it is very racist. This means u are a horrible cricketer cuz a real cricketer will be able to face anything.

U sir are a nasty stinking bloody racist.

  • I have faced a few black bowlers in club cricket but had no issues whatsoever....

  • gotjayme u horrible cunt, go and die somewere

  • actually, i faced a bangladeshi bowling mediums and there were a couple of balls he bowled that i completely didn't see out of the hand

  • i've faced a lot of black, asian and white bowlers plaing for my old school team and there was never any difference between them

well apart from teh fact tht i was never tht great against spinners :P

  • Joe Angel??!

  • Curtley at the WACA. I'd be shitting my pants.

  • both these teams are so good

  • the guy has to be faster than 140km/hr... dat tym we did not have such technology to measure the speed ....look how far the slips are...n the guy at slip was catching d ball waist height....he has to be really fast ambrose

  • He would release the ball at about 9 feet high which is about 280cm, hard to imagine trying to face someone like that who got great bounce and bowled at over 14okm/h

  • Look how far back the slips & gully are at around 2m 05secs.

    Cricket today doesn't really compare.

  • look how great the west indies was good back then.....noW they suck

  • one of my favorite bowlers of all time. w.indies could really use him now !

  • omg that guy at 28 seconds is so random.

  • standing at 6.7 feet this guy could whack the shit outta any batsmen...really pity the current west indian cricket team sucks balls...

  • Quite right

amazing he kept on so long

  • Ambrose is an absolute legend! Ridiculous pace, bounce and accuracy......what a man.

  • so 7 wickets for 1 runs?

  • the ball to border was awesome

  • ha what a spot by me!

  • Agh, weird subliminal messaging!

  • haha stop it on 28 seconds, what the hells that!?

  • haha that guy on 28 seconds is billy moore

he used to play rugby league lol i dunno why he pops up there lol

  • cricket has such a golden history

  • West indies where the shit back then, man i what a team there had, some pure legends.

  • Ambrose, Walsh and bishop were the last famous West Indian fast bowling trio. After them West Indian fast bowling reached its worst quality ever.

  • you forgot the fearsome four.. roberts, marshall garner and co

  • This must be a world record

  • Ambrose was a legend. I still remember when at the age of 36 he bowled the whole session against Pakistan and put suffocationg pressure on them.

  • Nice.. classic cricket is superb..

Ambrose n Walsh were jus too good!!
