When she sustained her leg injury, she really was one of the fastest improving fillies in America, and IMO would've been a real force in the Ladies Classic that year. She raced on turf in Europe several times before ever coming to the U.S. To prove her class, the first race Icon Project ever ran in was at Sandown in the UK. Where she finished 2nd to Dar Re Mi. The Yorkshire Oaks and Sheema Classic winning mare.
