With Socialism since everyone is "equal" there is no incentive to succeed. Which will mean business could completely leave the US because they don't want their hard earned money spread around. Entrepreneurs won't want to start a business in the US because for about the same reason. Then eventually the government would start reassigning everyone jobs to what they need. We would lose our rights, and maybe even some natural rights.
