where the heck is demeter, posiedon, apollo, athena, hephestus, hestia, hermes, hades and dyniosus? and where are the other titans, and gaea? seriusly
@DrBlackworth, Hera wasn't Zeus's first wife, his first wife was a wisdom goddess named Metis. They seemed happy until Zeus heard a prophecy that Metis would have a daughter and a son that would overthrow him like he did his father, Cronus. Zeus ate her and she gave birth to Athena inside of him. Athena emerged from Zeus's forehead fully grown and clothed. That's how that went. I hate prophecy stories.
@RexBlazer1 Are you well read in Indo-European mythology? This story bears a great resemblence to Sarasvati's birth. Sarasvati, the Vedic goddess of wisdom also emerged from a god from the forehead.
@that1nigglet, Can't say that I have read up on Indo-European Mythology. My mythological interests were geared more towards Egyptian and Greek mythologies (though I prefer Egypt), but there have been many occasions where a story from one place sounds similar to the story from another place.

@DrBlackworth, the ideas of Zeus and Hera were around far longer than Charles Manson or his family.
And what I said about hating Zeus and him being hypocritical, I MEANT EVERY WORD!!! I really did and still do.
