Driving off track definitely DOES NOT cause damage to cars in this game. Neither does hitting other cars or slamming into stationary objects. It just slows you down temporarily. There is no real damage modeling in Real Racing 2, only superficial bumper damage.
In my view this is one of the biggest problems with this game. In multiplayer mode this encourages an environment of extremely careless racing where the objective becomes to survive being pushed off track by other drivers. Until Firemint adds damage simulation to Real Racing, multiplayer mode will remain a free-for-all of morons trying to crash each other out rather than a simulation that resembles actual racing.

@willit63 ive given up with the GT online races and stick to the 94P which is better but the top 100 still knock any threats off the track
