just asking , doesn't that Cruise ship have a Heli-pad, just land a copter there and pick her up ??

@JetRanger0007 - beside the fact that the ship was 900 miles away, far outside the range of any Coast Guard helicopter, landing a helicopter on a ship takes hours of practice and coordination between the helo crew and the specific type/class of ship.

@CoastGuardNews OK , I know thats right , the practice part, i'm still trying to land some of my Heli's on cruise ship heli pads , I've crashed like 25 times , Destroyed like 30 copters in my Flight Simulator FSX Gold edition by microsoft ! one day I'll get better tho- 150 copters later
