1) "Valete" is usually idiomatic, and means "Farewell" or "Goodbye" in the imperative, usually not "Be Well".

and 2) Interesting choice using "Diebus Fatalibus" as "The day has died" instead of "to/from the day of fate" since there is no verb (there doesn't have to be) and the rest of the song uses forms of the word as fate.

@1Jesus12 Yep this is definitely from Edea/Matron's pov, because (spoiler) Squall went back in time after they defeated Ulti and told her that SeeDs are meant to fight evil Sorceresses, and she started the Gardens (the "garden of truth" in the song) and the song calls them "my children" and children of fate, which alludes to how everyone knew each other from the orphanage and even Rinoa has a connection to them.
