  • Hello...my name is Juan. I'm a 25 yr old man that is tired of being lazy all day. I would like to turn my life around. Don't really know how these things go but I would really like some tips on what it is I can do to start losing weight and staying in shape? I've seen some of your videos and I am doing some of the workouts but I would like to know something on how to lose the gut I've been accumulating over the year. Thank you for your time.

  • I did about 34. Half of them in the beginner version b/c normally I can barely do 5 pushups from my feet ^^

    I pbly could have done some more if it were not for my arms, they were not amused indeed! :D

    So happy I could finally do the same workout as you, and not being like O.O .. XP at half the time ^^

    Have you thought of getting rid of the coffee? Surprised that you would be consuming something that is so harmful instead of say some fresh squeezed fruit and/or veggie juice. Are you aware that caffeine stresses the nervous system, increases uric acid, contributes to stomach ulcers, restricts brain blood flow, causes calcium loss from the bones. Coffee is a poison, but most people don't realize the harm it does to their bodies.

  • @Brandonpavlo You only thing they're mainly woman workouts because you are watching a woman do them.

    You are watching this and processing it as a way to gain smaller muscle and lose fat, because this is how the female body changes from working out.. it has nothing to do with the type of workouts these are. Without the use of steroids, women do not get bulky muscle; men, however, do, and they will still get that bulky, muscular look from doing these workouts.

  • Hi, I modify your routine a bit.

    1. Set the clock for 10 intervals of 1 min

    2. Set the secondary clock to 20 sec

    I ran 6 rounds with a pace of 4 reps. every round that made 24.

  • if you are going to eat carbs you should eat them before you do your workout. If you eat them after they just sit in your body and don't get burned up.

  • @Sanchara Not true, your body replaces the burned carbs. Nothing just sits around in your body. If you have any surplus your body makes fat. But it does not just sit around.

    Before or after does not affect, how much is required or how it is used. Only intensity and duration affect carb reqs.

  • @Sanchara It depends. If you do your workouts in the morning, eating carbs after a workout (as well as protein) gives you that extra energy that you might find yourself needing to start your day and continue powering through your day. At night, you're probably more correct, however everything you eat gets "burned up" or used in our bodies in some way. So whether your eat ice cream or pickles after a workout won't matter too much, since your body will burn them up somehow.

  • Zuzana's dietary approach is very good! Carbohydrates from grain based food, like rice, bread, pasta, and potato and carbohydrates from various forms of sugar, like cane sugar and high fructose corn syrup, are the biggest contributor to obesity in this country, as well as chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes. Eliminate most of these carbohydrates and sugars, and a large portion of our health related costs will go away, and many lives will be saved.
