  • all micronations are based on the internet??? just look up Sealand, and Mollossia, etc. These are real places. and a micronation is a country that is not recognized by BIGGER countries

  • wikipedians (i think that's what their called) suck. they say that most micronation "are pointless hobbies and are completely useless" (yes, this is a real quote from a discussion page on Wikipedia)

  • Under international law, a nation exists if it has:

    Defined territory

    A permanent population

    A government

Capacity to enter into relations with other staes

  • @warpedcomedy My nation has all those things

  • I am working on a micronation called Vallozia, no population or land YET, but if anybody is interested hit me up, I have already drawn up a constitution and designed a flag.

  • According to wikipedia, there are about 60 official micronations

  • @Pieishman What's the difference between official and unofficial micronations...?

  • @Pieishman you cant trust wikipedia

  • @USFlatland yes you can. Sources hurpdurp

  • I know, I was a bit drunk when I made this video as I recall.

  • No offense dude but you luke like a serial killer :)

  • Oh yeah our population is over 10 and it's rescricted to this area

  • The Grand Republic of Japanada, I'm the leader ruler and head of state, my friend is chief lawmaker.

  • Meeep. Wrong. In our micronation, it's almost all people who know each other personally because we live in the same sort of area. We are *territorial* instead of *virtual*, or in other words *well developed* instead of *crappy*.

Actually I have come to realise that the best micronations really generally are the ones that don't depend entirely on the internet, i.e. that are more closely knit, bricks-and-mortar type of nations.

    Best example: Molossia.

  • Peoples Republic of Enveria

    google it

    facebook it

  • My micronation has 6 people, 2 live within 1 mile of eachother... We might nivite real friends to make the 1 mile range increase by 10 members. Join Kavala!

  • We absolutely agree that mimicry of real nations is a mistake. Reality has never been of interest to us and we have taken steps to avoid it absolutely. We would like to thank George Bush, Tony Blair, and Kim Jong Il for their ideas on reality-avoidance.

  • I have 15 people in my Micronation, and Growning, our micronation is made up of many people within a one mile radious of eachother, therefore we are not just over the internet, but are very social with eachother and regularly personally meet.

  • Indeed.

  • Hello, I am leader a well known Micronation, The Kingdom of Althacia, i would like to ask, do you yourself own a Micronation?

  • Yes

  • the only real micronation is seaworld i say.

  • @nickrohn93 do you mean sealand, im pretty sure seaworld is an aquarium

  • I am making a micronation Mitrosabad so far the population is 5

  • i appear to be a micronation but i did not know

  • looks cool, there is a high possibility for me to make a new nation, since I am part of the indegious natives (mixed of both Sami and Kainu of Scandinavia). about half of the 2000 people in my town is already pissed off by the prime minister's doing in our municipality.. they're almost at the point of rebelling ;)

  • Go for it!

  • Why create a one-man state?

  • Why not?
