  • This makes me cry with happy tears!

  • Thats cute!

  • He's wonderful, my brother i auistic as well but way less severe

  • He's wonderful

  • hehe he's making ME laugh... poor guy with those seizures - must be frightening to have seizures anyway ugh.

  • It's great to see Jamey so happy. He's really been through so much, it's just wonderful to see him happy, laughing & smiling. Thank you for sharing your Jamey & your story with us. What a wonderful guy.

  • Hey...nothing wrong with constant humming.......not that I do that or anything LOL..ok, I totally due. Not constant but umm 90% of the time. It's comforting. My dad and aide just say "Ok, enough Wyatt. Can you be quiet now" I don't even realize I am doing it and once I know it bothers them...I keep it up a little longer, just to be a nudge LOL. I never tire of watching your videos. You guys are an awesome family and James is awesome too.

  • its awesome to see Jamey so happy!!!! my grandon loves men haircuts that are cut like a army man's he loves running his fingers through it for some reason, he will go up to a stranger n without warning will run his fingers over their hair. he loves watching people get haircuts and is fananated when my dogs get groomed isnt it funny how when ours do something normal we parise them and clap for them? when parents of normal kids take everything for granted? God bless you and ur lovely family

  • Dear CDFoakley,

You are blessed with a beautiful son! Hard work at times but we have to realise our sons are normal, it is just finding their normality?

My best wishes are enclosed, from one fitter to another fitter's Mum.

    Take care

    mrbluenun

  • OMG Jamey is so cute and awesome!!

  • I love his smile!

  • You are the best mum in the world.

  • my heart goes out to you and him! I have a son who is like this! I am still mad at God!

it is not fair! It breaks my heart.. my son hasn't even said, Momma to me.. and he probablly never will.. and then I hear these parents to tell their kids to shut up in teh store.. and i feel like saying.. at least yoru kid can communicate with you.. mine has no clue of anything.. and I imagine how it would be if he was normal.. and I love him with all my heart.. but it's so hard!!

    god bless him n u!

  • @notebook116 I hope you and your son are doing well. Even if he can't say he loves you, he is saying it inside his heart....

  • @marianita355 Thank you....

  • Very awesome moments!! :-) this time when he is vocalizing , he is noticing that it's funny to be tickled and showing love for his mom and appreciating how much love

  • his laugh made my day .....such an amazing young man

  • His laugh and smile are the best. Hold on to those good days, and know that we that watch these videos and "know" you through them are praying and thinking of you when the days are rough. God bless your family.

  • It must be amazing to hear him laugh!

  • Your son is adorable. I wish you and your son all the best. :)

  • i wish we were smart enough to make a pill to help people who need it

  • What an amazing laugh. Such an honest loving sound. He is an amazing young man and has a family of fans in Texas rooting for him <3 Send him love

  • Again, its what he is thinking aboutr.........I've commented on other vics you've done and I really believe this. Like I said before, I have a mildly autistic 10 year old daughter who can tell me what's going on in her mind and everything revolveds around her thoughts. Unusual thoughts to be sure and it seems she can't switch gears. So, good thoughts.=good behavior, bad or scary thoughts= bad behavior. And again, just my observation and opionions of her but hope it helps.

  • has he ever done something that's hilarious? I have a severely autistic twin brother, I was walking with him in the downtown area when an overweight woman (and I mean OVERWEIGHT) walked out of a McDonalds (surprise surprise) and this was the exchange:

    Harry (brother):*runs up to woman

    Woman:Yes?

    Harry:FATTY!

Me:*laughs hysterically before explaining he is autistic

Has Jamey acted hilarious without knowing it?

  • @queenfan45 Once Jamey was "fixated" on a woman's colorful shirt in the store...and she had a disgusted look on her face, and kept moving away from him, so I told her, "look honey, it's not you he's looking at, so don't flatter yourself. He's looking at the cool design on your shirt."

  • i am in a different part of the education system because i had bad bipolar. an i was really slow to pick up the info... but where i am i get to talk an interact with a lot of people including Autistic kids. the one thing I've learn is they are truly the most loving an kind being you'll ever met.

  • My son has Autism also and he did the same things that your son does and He used to beat his head on the floor and on the brick wall and bite and hit. But we put him on meds and nothing seemed to work. but we put him in theropy. Behavial theropy it took about a year and a half but he now does none of that and he is like a normal child with some autistic things he does like rock flap and scream at things but he is better

  • Thank you, so much, posting these videos. I have asperger's so I am higher functioning than your son but I see a lot of myself in your son. The way he is acting and responding in this video is how I always feel on the inside. Watching your other videos I can actually relate to him. The intense focusing, the routine thing, and everything else. The only difference I see in myself from your son is that my form of autism is high functioning and I can communicate verbally. Aside from that, I see mys

  • How old is your son in this video?

  • @LibraBaby25 20 years old. It's funny, there are days he looks younger or older, depending on the expressions he makes.

  • @CDFoakley Wow. thats awesome. I'm 20 years old myself.

  • Lovely video..Do he has enough oxygen if he continue laughing ?

  • What a lovely video. I love that he is responding to you and that he's happy.

  • @nicolaou19 5-HTP is definately helpful. It reduces his incessant, obsessive compulsive vocalizations and reduces self abuse. But when he's in severe pain from, let's say, a blister or headache or something we don't immediately sense or note, it can override the 5_htp. Overall, it appears his brain lacks certain synaptic connections and neurotransmitters are jumbled, so it's a constant race to identify which are low, or too high to make him "balanced." and feeling good.

  • @CDFoakley We use 5-HTP too and it's great, but our son recently had strep and it's terrible! Also pepcid AC has helped with the stomach pain we were never really sure he had.

  • @CJEB4 Yes, 5HTP is a great alternative to SSRI's which elevate serotonin in brain, but the complexity of autistic brain among individuals with autism is so complex, that some autistics taking 5-HTP may get worse, if their underlying issue is hyper-serotonin....just a warning..

  • Aww his laugh just made me laugh but I am also Crying to because I have been flowing your Videos tonight and this reminds me of alittle boy that used to go to my Church taht was Serverely Autistic and I was the only one that could keep him quiet in church so he always sat with me and we always sat in the back so I could take him out if needed and i was only 14 and he was 12 at the time! I am now 28 and he still remembers me even though I havnt seen him in 10 years and he still hugs me =)

  • I love that he responds to you!! He is so genuinely happy at this moment. So sweet! peace :)

  • This is just awesome. Everyone should be like this every once and and a while

  • @MultiIPwnage that is so very, very true. we all need to see things and just laugh sometimes :)

  • awww, is he missing part of his finger? 1:47

  • @GreenGirl444 No, he's not missing part of his finger.

  • I've never forgotten his laugh, it makes me smile.

    >ashley R. <

  • I know how you feel when they get that silly mode, it makes the world a bit brighter :) when my Jory (15) gets the giggle fits when we do "I'm gonna get yoooooouuuuu" makes my whole day! Your son is beautiful, I look forward to the next videos. Big hugs to all of you.

  • So nice to see him laughing :)

  • This is so breathtakingly beautiful. His laugh just makes my heart sing so much. The fact that he's responding to you is nothing short of a miracle. God Bless you all.

  • its good to see you laughing n smiling Jamey.i hope one day we can meet in person or something. i think of as my little bro. gives u an hug.
