My baby was born 3months earily and was only 14os the doctors at musc said that there was nothing they could do about this well my lil girl lived for 3months then passed away soon after her body slowly after and she didn't make it

i am 21 weeks pregnant and during an ultrasound my doctor told me my placenta is low lying..but it didnt mention the name "placenta previa"..and she told me that it might go upper in the end of the pregnancy...now that i watched this video i got really scared because i didnt know its that serious this situation:(
Oh, "your doctor will monitor it closely" allright.....NOT! He doesn't even show up until you are pushing it out. Furthermore, if you don't have it on his/her time schedule (i.e, before dinner), they will scare you with a whole host of 'reasons" to have a c-section. Wake up people, it's for the MONEY and their CONVENIENCE! "Failure to progress, pelvis too small, baby too big", are all normall bs lines they feed you to get you to a c-section!! Insist on a NATURAL birth, without timelines.
What the fuck? "If ANYTHING AT ALL goes wrong, even in the slightest, get a cesarean section. Um, NO. That's major surgery!! You don't HAVE to be at a hospital to have a baby. Folks have them at home all the time. Breech, even. I'd like to stay away from a hospital and their strange people who are cold and distant, and their resilient cultures that are so advanced, they survive disinfectants.
@lozis15: under optimal conditions; the birthwight is not too high, breechposition is good, good progress during labour, it is possible to stribe for a vaginal delivery. Should the delivery of the head give any problems, a forceps could be used to help out.
Wow see i had seen a program were a pregnant woman was breech and she gave birth in a school bathroom with a midwife present [Waterloo Road] and I couldnt figure out how it worked but I get it now. Thanx.
did u get your answer... well, if the uterus ruptures really badly then yes hysterectomy is necessary to stop the bleeding , but it's a rare case all in all
@angelblue1357900: a hysterectomie is a last option to stop excessive bleeding of the uterus. In most cases the bleeding of the uterus (muscle) is caused by lack of contraction. To stop the bleeding, the docter will first give medication that'll cause a severe contraction of the uterus. In case this doesn't work, it's possible to insert a balloon in the uterus, to give pressure within the uterus in order to stop the bleeding. A hysterectomie is a last resort.
This is inflammatory and fear based. It starts out fine discussing the placenta, but the business about uterine rupture? That is less than 1%. Hysterectomy after the uterus "has been damaged" is very, very rare.
Move on from this video. Find something that is much more woman and childbirth friendly.
wow.. ive learned a lot from you doc.. you are a good teacher..!! keep up and more power... hope you continue these.. a student like me learned so much from here.. thanks ^_^
@syyd13 what does him reading have to do with the information the video is giving the viewer?? I would rather have him read and give us all the pertinent information than to "wing it" and forget some of the vital information.....
o frikkin shit, not going quickly enough? my cousin was in labor for 72 HOURS. when you go into labor you can expect anywhere from 24 hours to 36 hours. ITS NORMAL!!! doctors and hospitals just want to rush everything so friggin quickly it's ridiculous.
All you guys down below...QUIT BEING PESSIMISTIC! There are plenty advances in technology to help you with a healthy delivery. My mother had this condition and the hospital staff did a competent job in 1980!
im sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad i dont have to deal with this!
