As far as hippies shunning electricity that is a little too pigeon holed of a theory but , In all reality I somewhat agree that people need to consider the effects of modern society, and just a few weeks ago i talked to a gentleman about placing solar panels and creating a windpowered system for my yard.. but in my opinion energy consumption should be important to all people hippie yuppie or otherwise.

is it fair that if i make an extra $300 on my check and get more tax taken off that the same shouldn't apply to the rich. if your company makes 1.6 billion in profit is it not fair for them to be taxed 15% instead of under 1% not to mention everything written off. my brother makes $80,000 a year at his job, the government takes nearly 38% of that in taxs. i have no problem with people being rich just pay your fair share like the rest of us.

Property redistribution and wealth redistribution are the tenets of Social Justice. So my question is, what portion of your income and what portion of your owned property will you be handing over to the government, so they can give it to the junkie, illegal alien, and welfare bum? If we went to a flat tax then everyone would pay an equal percentage of taxation on spending across the board. Trying to incrementally label groups by earnings is monetary segregation and it is covetousness. I hope that you can keep as much as possible that you earn and be successful in all you strive for.

whats wrong with people paying a flat rate tax across the border would mean a lower tax for everyone and the tax rate should be set to pay for the basic services that benefit us all, universal health care & dental, military, education and social services.i would still support incentives for new business and tax breaks to a degree. as for what ever extra income you make then thats all good but as for offshore tax shelters and companies getting away with almost no tax then, no dice!

As far as hippies shunning electricity that is a little too pigeon holed of a theory but , In all reality I somewhat agree that people need to consider the effects of modern society, and just a few weeks ago i talked to a gentleman about placing solar panels and creating a windpowered system for my yard.. but in my opinion energy consumption should be important to all people hippie yuppie or otherwise.
