@a 1glamour the cold water does work because i do that but it might be smearing because either your putting to thick of a brush of clear coat brush some off when you take it out of the bottle or yoir nails arnt dry enough :)

@rachellesomer14 Dipping them in ice cold water afterwards is supposed to make them dry quicker! for some strange reason!

why did urs smear mines didnt i think u need to work faster

...i used a cheapy clear polish vs a top coat. seche vite is the one I found worked the best shortly after I experienced the disappointment of the smearing. I'm sure the Konad top coat is fab, but it didn't come in my kit, so those of you who have it will prob not experience the smearing. (and those like me go get seche vite...@ Sally's)

I found different top coats will affect the design.

I personally like the Sally Hansen "Hard as Wraps", and I do soak my hands in cold water for a bit first too!
