  • we can't have shit!

  • LOL WHITE PEOPLE N LATINOS THINK BLACK SOAP GONE MAKE THEM BLACK LOL!!!

  • I've been thinking about switching from dirt to soap for when I take my monthly showers. Is this stuff any good? Looks like what I use now

  • Can i use it as shampoo?

  • Good Lord! I say buy from the women who make the stuff. I don't care what their colour or nationality. Simply that women who are economically disadvantaged deserve a fair share of the profits for their products. White, black, green..I don't care. Fair is fair. If this company is a fair trade company then I am all for it....if not then I am not. Just because the person selling or demoing this crap is white doesn't mean they are taking advantage.

  • That soap they are advertising does not last long and it it absorbs too much moisture and so become far too pliable. You need to get the other stuff that that stuff - its a waste of money and doesn't last.

  • PALM OIL IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN

  • ......

  • I would love to buy from black owners... but here in SC there not many... if any... this is why, if any one knows any websites or stores to go to, to buy natural products such as black soap, hair products, skin care products etc.... I WOULD B FOREVER THANKFUL!!!

  • please tell me from which store in Los Angels I can buy a natural black soap

  • @minyona7777 SIKA. In Leimert Park African Village

  • @minyona7777 SIKA. Leimert Park African Village

  • Hi. Where can we find 100% ntural black soap. Actually which store, cus I hate to order online.

  • I just tried African Black Soap for the first time this week and my skin already feels awesome (although i also use cold water when i shower so that helps skin and hair feel great). My sister bought it from Coastal Scents. It's great! I think we as society should try and steer away from the more chemical-made products in every aspect of life.

  • I'd rather buy my african black soaps from africans or blacks than to make profit off people who don't even go through the labor.

  • @NaturallyBeautifulQ...I am with you. African women work their backs off in harsh conditions and a few people (who haven't got a damn clue of the strains of African women) come in and make a fortune off their labor...I buy directly from Africa and help the women improve their lives...

  • YES! It's a disgrace..whites are always trying to make profit off others..

  • @DuchessGabrielle where would you buy it? i bought mine from the remedica website, its a company in australia, i agree with what youre saying, i live in new york, so where would u buy it so that does that are actually doing the labor would make the profit?

  • @marvelousmarv89....I have seen a few sites that seem genuine but I can't really vouch for them...My mom in Kenya buys the soap for me from Ghana then sends it to me in Philly. I could make recommendations but you would still need to ask a lot of questions before purchasing. I hope that helps!

  • @DuchessGabrielle Do you have a website for the co. in Africa that you buy the black soap from? For now I've been buying soap from Nasabb. They are a black owned co. They've been out of stock for the black soap for a few months. Thanks!

  • I cannot endorse any site since I have never purchased from anyone but agbangakarite(dot)com seems to have nice reviews...I hope that helps...

  • @DuchessGabrielle I don't know about this company but is buying directly from Africa necessarily helping African women. I'm sure there are many Africans taking advantage of their labors, making profits off their strain. Are you sure that who you're buying from is giving the women fair prices? Reputable and proven companies who are certified in Fair Trade attempt to give more of the profits to the people actually manufacturing the stuff. Do you shop Fair Trade and if so, from what companies?

  • @ghoovify ...I am African. It would be ridiculous to buy Shea butter anywhere else other than home. I buy from the women's goups not a company. True, the Shea market is full of scoundrels from all directions including the Africans themselves. I buy from the women who make it directly, no middle men. I do not but from a company..but rather from the women who actually do the work......

  • @DuchessGabrielle is there a site that u order yours from?

  • @DuchessGabrielle yea i only support black people...i sound racist but, who will help the blacks if we dont? :[

  • Well yes I do by my mexican food from mexicans in America either than TacoBells low quality of mexican food & I hate pasta period. It's not ignorant at all I'd rather buy it from my own people who get the real deal. I'm sorry but if I know my own people are giving a percentage back to my other people I'm down for it but I'm definantley not handing my money to a white woman trying to make profit off blacks. Sorry but thats a closed end deal discussion for me. I roll with my kind.

  • The only "kind" I see is mankind. If everyone just stuck with only their own "kind" then we would never get anywhere. So how would you explain that to a child that's mixed. Who would they support? The black or white? when their apart of both. Just get over it, blacks make money off of whites and whites make money off of blacks. In this world the only color that people pay attention to is GREEN. Thats what matters in the end anyway!

  • Lady you're taking this to a whole other level. If I offended you in any way sorry but just as I said, when it comes to MY African products, I'm buying it from MY KIND. & Get over what? I'm not continuing a debate in anything between blacks and whites I'm SUPPORTING MY BLACK PEOPLE . There's nothing to get over there and I obviously have support from MY Black people. Ever heard of Give back to you community? Hell, this minus well be origin. Stop making this into an absurd prejudice remark .

  • well let me apologize, didn't mean to seem like I was coming at you like that but, I hear things like this it just frustrates me bcuz 9 times out of 10 people are trying to turn everything into a racial/prejudice issue. and I always have to explain and enlighten that the world is not all black nor all white. Jesse Jackson crap if you know what I mean. Yes I see your point and commend you on giving back. and the same i hope i didn't offend you. Take Care and God Bless

  • You don't have to apologize for anything. The Koreans in Queens, NY wouldn't apologize to her for having their own banks nor would the Italians apologize for purchasing olive oil exclusively from Italians. Or the Greeks, or the Ethiopians, or the Russians, etc. They would laugh at her in her face and tell her to kiss their bottoms...but more impolitely.

  • @LadyLibraNMore Your right hun, thank you. I don't have to apologize for that..

  • @AntiNegro808 aw, are you so obsessed with me you have to follow me everywhere? I love followers, the fact that they follow my shit and stalk all my stuff is a little crazy but it gives me something, haha entertainment. :)

  • With all due respect, that's Hollywood logic. For example, Chinese people in the U.S.-even if they've intermarried- will go to an Asian grocer ESPECIALLY if the owners are Chinese for Chinese products BEFORE they will buy it from an American store. It's the same for the Mexicans, Africans of all nations, Muslims, etc. AND so do "white" people...

As far as the world not getting anywhere, that's untrue. I've yet to meet anyone who hasn't eaten at a Chinese or Mexican restaurant...

  • I just wanted to weigh in on your conversation about buying the soap from black. First I looked you up and youre a teenager and it made sense. FYI the woman is selling the soap as FAIR TRADE which means she is selling a prduct that financially supports some African Community. Also sadly it is ususally white people who go to Africa to help communities and build schools. Before the Earthquake in Haiti there were hundreds of "White People" already there as missionaries helping the Haitians.

  • Not so fast... The value of the products leaving the African continent (i.e. diamonds, BLACK SOAP, shea butter, cocoa, bauxite, COLTAN, etc.) far outweighs the value of donations and aid received. Haiti was named "Jewel of the Caribbean" by colonial exploiters due to the abundant supply of natural resources. If it weren't for racism, cultural decimation (which missionaries heavily were involved in) and corruption, Haiti & African nations would be amongst the wealthiest in the world.

  • middle class and upper class white people... the regular black person cnt afford to just pack up and leave for 18 months or so

  • @Micrhymes - so by your standards, the regular black person is poor or lower class. you sound really, ignorant. just because you're broke doesnt mean we all are. and a lot of people cant pack up and leave, rich or middle class.

  • @DREA0677 i sound really ignorant?? funny you say that wen the word means to basically ignore... you ignored the fact of what i was talking about.... yh it's true middle or lower class not all but most of us cnt afford to leave our lives for 18month hoping to come bk to a house let alone a job......thats why not alot of black people do charity work.... next time dnt butt in on something you have no business in...if you think your rich thats great for you

  • @NaturallyBeautifulQ Unless you go there & buy directly from the women making it, it's impossible not to pay a profit to people who don't actually make it, no matter their skin color. There are plenty of blacks profiting from the labor of these women and never break a sweat. If you wanna just buy from black people because they're black, then say that. Just because you buy directly from Africa doesn't mean there aren't blacks there who aren't taking advantage of these hard working women.

  • @NaturallyBeautifulQ if u have a beauty store, ask there! thats wear i got mines! and im only 12 IT IS EXPENSIVE! my mom got it for me! ( and yes i am blaqq)!

  • Hi everyone, i have acne problem and i hate to go out with my friends thougt they make me feel happy.

  • try leicester, over here you can find African/Black soap.... in a Black african shop.... i dont know about london tho... but try leicester city.... Peace

  • wouldn't bit's of grit be exfoliating?

  • has anyone tried the black soap from sheabutterhut(.)com? how is it? thanks

  • Comment removed

  • Are you really from London? Oh boy, I thought this kind of wanting to be lighter was dying out and certainly not our biggest most metropolitan city...is it just me of does this question sound like it belongs in the 1930's??

  • I'm the muggins who was talked into featuring in this video - now I remember why I don't like public speaking!

You can buy this African black soap on our UK website (just Google Eco Eco and S33) or in our shop in Derbyshire.

We also sell a liquid version made with organic rosewater which is perfect for those people who don't like the squidginess of the natural soap

  • how do you keep the soap in its solid form? My soap like you said in the video gets lumpy.

  • Black soap contains glycerin which means it attracts moisture. If you have a whole lump of black soap in your shower - near water - expect it to soften up a lot.

I buy black soap in bulk and break off small pieces. Also keep it in a dry place, if you can.

  • Weird cuz when I wash my face with it, it dries!

  • i went to the site to purchase this and the site isnt operating do know where else i can purchase this?

  • I just purchased it today from Whole Foods..

Brand is - Alaffia African Black Soap-

It looks just like the one in the video NATURAL FORM ( I looks like a dirty rock that you would find outside somewhere) That's when you know it's natural. That Nubian Heritage stuff that stores sale is not real African black soap. Also when you go and purchase the Alaffia Black Sopa pick up some Alaffia Shea Butter as well. It's good to wash face first with the blk soap at night and then add shea bttr on fce

  • You can get both black soap and shea butter from butters-n-bars or shop (add dot) agbangakarite (add dot) com. Silly Youtube

  • thaanks :)

  • I get conflicting information, I have read that the real black soap is chunky or in a log form and then chunk up, they say anything other than that is imitation, can you clarify!

  • tried this soap, i love it!

  • This soap is truly the best soap out there.

  • this is the best soap, i use it for my face, body, and hair.

  • cool. i might have to try it.

  • it's all good...

  • couldn't find it on the site. Do you have a link?

  • We are not 'live' yet, sorry. come back in a couple of weeks and you will be able to buy it online..

  • @queenfee try coastal scent, or buttersandbars for free trade black soap
