  • the smell alone would have knocked me out..

  • hehe, When I saw this i turned it on right at this part and thought the apartment owner was a New York taxi driver horder that liked his trophies.

  • Dr Cox? Is that you?

  • Fincher is a godamn genius!!!!!!!!

  • Fincher best flicks seven , zodiac 2007 , fight club , the game etc

  • @superhornet69 Not really but okay,it's kinda their decision to wear a helmet or not. Most times it's more convenient to have one,but going after one guy in an apartment,I wouldn't wear one either.

  • @superhornet69 Most directors dont like to cover the actors faces when they have speaking lines dumbass, especially when there supposed to have the shit scared out of them shortly after there line. Fucking moron.

  • @mercneo ...Fuck you to, asshole!!

  • @mercneo And besides that, I said a fucking helmet, not a fucking balaclava, you retarded cunt.

  • can this happen in real life? how did he managed to survive?

  • The worst part about this is that something very similar was done to a teenage girl for no reason but "for fun". Eventually they set her on fire but she didn't die until later on anyway. She had lost most of her hair because of the torture she had to endure for such a long time. Her torture was often sexual in nature as well, and the guilty teens didn't even get life.

  • WHAT SORT OF REAL SWAT TEAM GOES RIGHT PAST A MAN WITHOUT SEEING HIM!

  • @GreenDayWolfyxx Do you mean the guy at about 0:55. Cos the SWAT leader with the Shotgun shines his flashlight onto his face, he presented no danger and was letting the SWAT team go past so they had no need to apprehend him.

  • Excellent music when SWAT clears the apartment

  • there is no 3.55 :o

  • without a doubt the most disturbing scene in the whole movie

  • @Zooroonies i actually think the questioning of the guy who murdered the lust victim a lot more frightening

  • Why does the policeman say 'you got what you deserved?' i don'y understand, seems a little bit harsh to me....

  • @NicoDavidSanchez ... he said that because the guy that was strapped don't was convicted for raping a minor previously. So you basically got a vengeful cop who hates people that commit crimes.

  • he looks like a man turnin in to a werewulf

  • Does anybody know why there were so many car fresheners hanging from the ceiling? Was it just to cover up the smell or was there some other purpose?

  • @ItsMeLegit Just to cover the smell probably. If the place stank the other residents of the apartment would check in and find the body.

  • i could see him having some cute babies :')

  • The first time I watched this movie I yelped at the part where he "comes to life," it scared the bejeezus out of me!

  • how the hell is he still alive??????? can someone explain??? please!!!

  • @TheStickUpKid187 Because of all the drugs in his system and the air freshener on the ceiling. And because of John Doe

  • @TheStickUpKid187 because the killer was so methodical that he managed to just keep him alive. he planned the whole thing for exactly a year. he planned it so that he would die on that very day, knowing that it would be the day the police found him. some pretty fucked up shit really

  • imagine the guys from the ambulance crew who had to touch him......

  • What did they do to him?

  • Comment removed

  • 0:40 its Freddy Krueger!

  • I love telling people that the Sloth victim in Seven is a real-live actor and not an animatronic or a dummy. Seriously, kudos has to go to Michael Reid MacKay and the magic of Rob Bottin and his team.

You could dispel the argument over whether horror is psychological or visual with this. This contains the best of both worlds. One the one hand, the ghastly appearance of the victim and on the other hand, just look at the comments below! "How did he survive?" "What did he do?" "Imagine the pain!"

  • What I'd love to do to my ex's ex...the same rapist, abusive piece of shit cocksucker she threw me away for...

  • @NookSouth sloth means lazy or untidy

  • What does sloth and Gluttor Mean

  • that is why marihuana is illegal.

  • @IDeafpool what does marijuana have to do with anything? You think weed did that to him?

  • My apartment number is 306. *gulp*

  • Horatio, we have a b- OH SHIT!

  • Before I watched this my mom described it as "they find the guy and he's all skinned and he's still alive."

I expected a flayed man hanging by his wrists in an abandoned warehouse.

  • @brocalfur

make it 3 and you got a deal

  • "...and he still has hell to look forward to"

  • @os99 Haha, nice quote. Thumbs up.

  • Dude I flipped when he coughed.

  • great make up for the Sloth scene

  • Cant think.. of anything... BUT BINDING OF ISAAC!

  • The air fresheners were a nice touch

  • I think the most amazing thing about this, is that Dr Cox was a former member of SWAT, before becoming a Doctor.

  • I'm confused. could someone help me?

What did the person/murderer/whatever do to him ? and why does he look like that?

  • Comment removed

  • @vocoloidfreak11 he was heavily sedated, I think. All the time. For one entire year. So he was malnourished and didn't die just because he was constantly given drugs to keep his body going.

  • @alwayscommenting56 that'd kinda suck :I

  • @vocoloidfreak11 Sloth is pretty much laziness. He tied the guy down to a bed, and didn't let him move for a year. Eventually because his body doesn't move, his muscles turn to nothing. I guess his body would just turn to shit after that. I don't know the specifics, or even if I'm right, but I'm fairly certain he just made it so his body couldn't move. It's similar to someone who's in a coma for an extended period of time, their muscles deteriorate over time and lead to atrophy, I think.

  • @Lemming456 Oh ok :D

    tanks

  • @Lemming456 Well i heard that sloth is not necessarily lazyness but not spreading the word of god or something along those lines

  • @vocoloidfreak11 He also tortured him the whole time, "Even if his brain were not mush, which it is, he chewed off his own tongue long ago...he's experienced about as much pain and suffering as anyone I've encountered"

  • nice quality... but how?

  • Check out the chase scene from se7en - youtube.com/watch?v=2IF9VbQTUE4

  • Scared the fuck outta me first time I saw this... How the Hell was that dude still alive?

  • This scared the crap out of me when I first watched the movie.

  • I think the word "SLOTH" was written in shit...o_O

  • @TainoMantis nice catch!

  • After watching this scene I had thoughts over this bit for a while :P. Scared the living daylights out of me!!. Still find it hard to believe that he was still alive ...

EPIC film though!! Definitely the worst death.

  • A fucking year. A FUCKING YEAR. HOLY SHIT.

  • thats how i wake up every morning

  • @egeek10 hoooly shit made me laugh my ass off with that comment lol

  • You can view the Chase Scene here - youtube.com/watch?v=2IF9VbQTUE4

  • @thasweetwalrus He was also bloodletting this guy, you can see all the little cuts and stuff.

  • What a gruesome scene. That definitely had me thinking about how there are people who are sick enough to try this.

  • This is a fucking epic scene, i could not belive first time i saw,

  • Damn I wish movies could scare/disturb me easier then I could enjoy these movies more

  • This makes Silence of the Lambs look like a tea party.

  • @TheBeatlesRoooock which kind? cause if it's the Michelle Bachmann kind that is WAY scarier

  • @TheBeatlesRoooock Well, it was about a cannibal.

  • @BrokenCodex101 Yeah, but Se7en is about a deranged religious fanatic. Doesn't that beat everyone out in the crazy department, including cannibals and guys who make woman-suits?

  • This scared the living SHIT out of me the first time I saw it! And it still freaks me out to this day...

  • So badass!!

  • this scene scared the fuck out of me ! One of the sickest killers eer seen in movie ... :/

  • I can't think of something funny to say... uggh. What a pain... Commenting is a pain.

  • ...i dont get what happened to him.

  • @thasweetwalrus He fed/quenched him very little for one year, just enough to keep him living on the edge... when you lie down like that for a very long time, your skin starts decaying. Gruesome yeah

  • @TheRisingIcarus oh wow thats sketch, thanks for the explanation :)

  • 2:14

  • As long as he is nourished in the (extremely little) as he survives, unfortunately! Been there for a year and has bitten off his tongue just to eat something of this torture! D;

  • He was awake the whole time? OH HELL NA....well Im not sleeping tonight =/

  • plus, whats with the air fresheners? ads a nice touch, i spose.

  • @easrth I think it was supposed to mask the smell in some way :|

  • @easrth it was to get rid of the smell so people wouldnt have known he was in there

  • It looked like his teeth were falling out when he woke up.

this scene really stuck in my head!

  • 3:30 if i was that cop i would have screamed like a little girl 0.0

  • First time I watched it I burst out laughing XD ^-^

  • is this possible to do in real life?

  • @SARAIx29

Yup. It's okay though. He was a peder-ass. He deserved it. XD

  • @SARAIx29

I think this is too much (don't know the englishword ''headcinema??'') and it isnt real. Okay the victim got intravenous food and some drugs, but after this time he would got too much decubituswouds so the organs would fall through his back. I think nobody could live one year in this position. Only horror... but if you want know if its possivble, ask some doctors or try to make an experiment and do this in real ... .. .

  • @modermotte I would have thought the same thing, but if you also notice he's covered in sores, and he smells terrible. Even though he is still alive, he's clearly rotting, and has very little brain function. I don't think it could happen in real life, because I've never seen it done, but... maybe it's possible? Who knows. ;)

  • I was watching this earlier today with my uncle, and when that "dead" guy started jerking around I jumped and spilled my coffee. Not too impressive, I guess, but it takes a lot to make me wince when it comes to slasher/horror movies. So 5 stars all the way for this scene if it can startle me.

  • why did the police guy say that the man got what he deserved? was he evil?

  • @KingKraid If I remember correctly, they went to thiat house believing that the author of the previous murders was there. In other words, they thought that he was John Doe (I'm assuming you have seen the film; if not, check it out, it's excellent :D)

  • @escrete20000 I sadly didn't watch the movie but it looks awesome and I'll be sure to watch it^^

  • @KingKraid

He was a drug dealer with a history of mental illness (depression?) who committed assault charges, armed robbery and child molestation...

He got some good lawyers and skirted by with a very short prison sentence...

  • @Billcasey oh I can see how the cop said what he said then x.x but although he was an ass, why'd he get labeled as sloth? wouldn't that make him lust or greed?

  • @KingKraid

It's largely his status as a drug dealer that makes him Sloth. He's both a user and peddler of a substance that makes people enjoy doing nothing...

  • @Billcasey that makes sense

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • i don't get it, how can he still be alive after being chained to a bed for one year without food or water. and how did he become like a zombie?

  • @nilesolma the serial killer kept him nurished, he just didnt let him move and his skin rotted without any washing im assuming

  • @nilesolma rotted because it wasnt washed, i should say

  • @nilesolma The killer gives him food every now and then. Extremely low! As long as man is nourished by itself, survive, unfortunately!

  • @nilesolma Of course he was fed, although his food was drugs. He was also administered antibiotics to keep him from getting infected.

  • When I was a senior in high school, my acting teacher showed us this movie...

I'm pretty sure I jumped out of my seat at this scene.

  • 2:31 three arms.

  • 1 million bucks if you do him...

  • i come back to watch this after being an experienced iv dope user, and man thats wayyy more fucked up than when i saw it as a drug free young teen

  • were those heroine needles lying around everywhere? how do you shoot heroin if your arms are all tied up

  • @popwarskatemore7 killer injected drugs to stop the sores from getting infected

  • i find this somewhat difficult to masturbate to.

  • haha am I the Only one who's chocked to see dr cox? XD

  • eh. ive seen scarier. freddy krugar movies were more grusome.

  • Never mind the arm, what happened to his blindfold?

  • its worse when you know whats coming lol

  • ....and this is why I read the comments, put it on mute, and scroll through before watching. No surprises.

  • can anyone explane the extra arm!?

  • Yes, the extra arm was a mistake. Even though it seems obvious now it took me a couple of goes to notice. I defy anyone to actually notice it the first time. There is too much WTF.

  • @os99 Extra arm? What?

  • @StudPuppetsInc At 2:31, you can tell the guy has three arms: the actors two arms, and a third, plastic one.

  • @os99 Where the hell is the extra arm? :(

  • @Bored2Deth1 2:30-2:33 It's tucked right alongside his torso, as the other arm sticking out is prosthetic.

  • At 2:31 it is quite visible that the editors forgot to take out the actor's "real" arm. On the left side, he actually has two arms; the real and the prosthetic. A bit of a blunder there.

  • ewwwww

  • Press 9 repeatedly. LOL.

  • This ist in my opinion the hardest and cruelest torture ...

It is real headfilm when you thinkt about it than he live or he die... What must this guy feel in the year :O ???

  • "SWAT goes before DICKS."

  • @Atraiterm LOL

  • so how did he die again

  • @Tarixstar1234 he was strapped to a bed for a year and was given barely enough food to live. the reason is revealed in this awesome movie. go watch it.

  • 3:30 i couldn't help but i laughed so hard at this scene. his teeth looks like donkey

  • nine people are lazy and shit themselves

  • escaped from pan's labyrinth

  • I just really wished the ending was different, more happy. so fucked up! WHY! awesome movie tho

  • @deadlyvirusgiver The original ending saw Kevin Spacey killing Brad Pitt's character instead and then being shot by Morgan Freeman. The studio were keener on this. Also if you look closely at 2:31 you can see that the sloth character has three arms, one of which is prosthetic.

  • @Dannysince1985 why did he have three arms, i never noticed untill now? was it jus a mistake or sumthin?

  • Of all the ways to go, this was the worst.

  • david fincher is an awesome director. i'd say he's one of the top 10 movie directors alive today

  • the sloth victim's landlord gave a statement. saying he always paid the rent on time. freeman reads the statement and pitts responds something like 'a landlords dream'. no one checked on the guy because he was paid up and never complained

  • When i was about 18-19 my dream was to become a director. Fincher was so ahead of me i don't even want to try anymore. I'm just gonna stick to my writing :)

  • Press 4 repeatedly to see Summerset cop a feel of Mills' fine ass.

  • Dr Cox works for SWAT too!!??

  • Love this Movie! Still wondering what Dr.Cox's doin there tho :P

  • This is why I don't lie in anymore.

  • I remember seeing this in the theater, when he movied I just shouted "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!" as loud as I could. This scene still gets me to do that

  • @underbightdog23 hahaha you lad

  • The movie is great but this scene and the scene for lust scares the hell out of me...

  • that scene freaked me out -.-

  • i saw a csi show on the tv at the gym one time so i dont know what the show was called, but they copied this whole scene down to the air fresheners >:[

  • Se7en is much better than Da Vinci Code is

  • @92af Anything short of being tied to a bed for a year is better than the Da Vinci Code.

  • Press 3 repeatedly.

I'm sorry for ruining the scene.

  • @493950 Bravo, sir lol

  • @493950 dick hahahah

  • @493950 I actually thought he said "dicks" the first time I watched this movie. lol

  • @twotonguestalking713

    So have I.

  • One of the best effin movies man!

  • What the fuck is this?

  • He was a drug dealer, robber, and child rapist. The greed victim was his attorney, and got him light sentence. The killer tied him to the bed and only just barely kept him alive with fluids and antibiotics over the course of a year, taking his picture every few weeks to show how he deteriorated slowly. Out of all of the victims, you are to assume that he was a real piece of shit that hurt many, many people and felt no remorse.

  • The doctor says after this scene that death is imminent "He would die of shock right now if you were to shine a flashlight into his eyes. He's suffered more pain and suffering than I've ever encountered....and he still has hell to look forward to!" So

    trippy

  • he wil be ok

  • Scariest part of this movie: John C. McGinley with a shotgun ^_^

  • A room filled with air refreshers. I mean come on xD

  • Jesus christ!
