@JLBlondies Basically on records there is an A-side (the main tracks on one side of the CD/vinyl) and on the other side is lesser tracks that are less popular. They are on the B-side. You can think of it like an A-list and B-list, where each is on a different side of the disc, and the A-list is the more popular better known tracks.
I'm always excited for their albums but I always love to listen to the b-sides the follow the albums release. Favourite Worst Nightmare has some of the best b-sides that they've made so far
sometimes when I'm checking out a new band one of the best early sign is that a lot of their songs have been uploaded, not just one or two singles. ARctic monkeys not only have tons of stuff on here but all their songs ARE AMAZING
I know Humbug isn't like 'their' style, as many of you say, but i still think it's a hell of an album. I would'nt say it's boring, but yeah it's different, and different doesn't have to mean it's worse, just different. And maybe they did want to experiment and do something different in the first place. They're a rock band, they can do whatever they want to do, they're not gonna kneel before anyone and much less do what they tell them to do, they're not a f*cking disney sissy band, you know.

I think "Humbug" was more the result of Alex and the band becoming a little pretentious, but not because of fame. Just by the natural result of 4 guys being too self-indulgent.

think of the beginning. Was so good when they weren't famous. So powerful music.
