  • Man...I was so stoked when I heard the beat and I thought doom was going to spit on it. Blue balls.

  • I've just had "crazy world, get in where you fit in" tattooed on my neck....

this song has got me through some hard times and tbh i don't fit in any where :)

  • @TheGhettostylus Snap partner, stay misfit!

  • this track grows on you. i didn't like it at first, but now.... i don't love it, but i don't skip it. I enjoy this song. Plus Dooms beats can make anything amazing.

  • CHECK OUT THE JAY Z REMIX I MADE. I USED THIS BEAT

  • if u feelin this song you will always have a place for hip hop in the heart

  • That wasn't DOOM spitting wtf.. That was Gigan. DOOM did the beats as Geedorah I guess.

  • Legendary first verse

  • Hate to say it, but his flow sounds like proto-lil wayne, only weezy never rapped over a beat this good.

  • This dude sounds like a drunk Mos Def.

...and this song really is sad somehow...

  • wish it was geedorah instead of gigan

  • The lyrics ruin Doom's beat//

  • love the sadness of this song...

  • @bigmelo19 perfect comment

  • @regionfree1 thanks fam

  • Goddamn, what I would give to hear Doom rap over this beat.

  • Cant rate this good enough :)

  • d.o.p.e!

  • gigan sounds like lil wayne, not a fan of this track

  • @10lettername You must not be smoking the right stuff. He sounds nothing like little wayne. And EVERYTHING about this track is straight fire. Are all your 5 senses in order?

  • @10lettername lil who?

  • @10lettername dont dis geedorah like that man, he's dosent at all have that whiny voice like wayne does

  • @Tryandtakemyguns11

I didin't say Geedorah (MF Doom) has a whiny wayne voice, It's Gigan, the dude featured on this track, his voice is scratchy, high pitched, and difficult to make out sometimes. I'm not a fan, but i love Doom, he's the shit.

  • a shame i CANT ACCUTUALLY HEAR his lyrics, the instrumental is very loud

  • @acerza89 I can hear him well lol, I like how it's a little louder than his voice. He himself is a little difficult to understand, at first though

  • rough rugged and raw.... just the way i like it!!!

  • this beat is unreal

  • check out '10 years later' by Gm Grimm and Mf Doom, same beat beautiful lyrics

  • anybody notice that gigan was a name for a dinosaur in godzilla? lol

  • @grimmjow3003 Yeah, he's part of a group called Monsta Island Czars, based off the island in Godzilla. Everyone in the group has a name from a monster in the movies

  • my favorite beat and doom didnt even go in on it whats that about/

  • yeah the vocal pissed me off in start but now i love it...like M.I.C i didnt "get" the stuff but kept playing and now i love it

  • as soon as i started this track i knew instantly it was mos def. arguably two of hip hops best MCs. black on both sides might be the greatest hip hop album ever made

  • @kmac71291 its not mos def ha it sounds like him but its not I thought the same thing. I saw a video of mos def praising DOOM's lyrics though saying he would like to do something with him

  • Also. Much LOVE fellow human beings that are in the struggle we call LIFE. Keep your head up.

  • If you are listening to this, and you are wise to what is really going on around you- Then put a big middle finger up to say screw you to the people like you and me that try to control the world on a daily basis. I read the map , and the Lord drives my life. Wake up to a new understanding...stop taking things at face-value...start thinking...for yourself. Do not be counted as part of the masses, because at the end of the day...you're already dead.

  • Not bad for a guy in a Dr. Doom mask(lol)

  • @kingrob29 doom doesnt rap on this one!

  • I'm such a fracking n00b for not knowing this b4! man just imagine listening to hiphop for almost 14 years and not knowing this. I'm from east-east-germany - that might explain it ;) just excuse me... such a fat track... not that good for ppl /w depressions ;) but the best fracking track I heard since a long time. blah blah blah... one word: awesome!!!

  • This song and the entire album is one of my all time favorites. This was the first doom disc I had (burned copy) Over the next year I purchased every MF cd available. The best!

  • Does anybody else notice the similarities between the melody in this and in Everybody's Nobody by XV? I mean they're clearly different and aren't very complicated melodies anyway so I'm not accusing XV of copying, just sayin, cause I was listening to this and it hella reminded me of something that I couldn't put my finger on and I think it may be the XV song. Anyone know of any other songs that use a similar melody? Maybe some oldie or movie song? (And not 10 Years Later or Requiem: 820 Latham)

  • i like to think of this beat as the beat i want playing in my head on my last minutes on earth. like..wen im dying. in a good way

  • This guy's voice is made out of trebel.

  • isnt this a sample from barry manilow's, cant smile without you???

  • @fratzx27 It's a sample from The 5th Dimension's "Requiem: 820 Latham" from 1967. "Requiem: 820 Latham" is an amazing song!!!

  • @MotownConnoisseur30 wrong its Twin Peaks theme thankyou please

  • @antifugazi No, it is "Requiem: 820 Latham" by the Fifth Dimension from 1967. Yes, it sounds like the theme from "Twin Peaks," but it's not. It has been stated that the sample is "Requiem: 820 Latham"

  • i want this instroo!!!

  • ITS ALL ABT ME ...

  • @LEGALHUSTLE00 lol, i agree

  • eurgh...I can never listen to this song without crying. My brain has decided this is a sad song, and I tear up whenever I hear it.

  • yeah... it is kinda sad... even though the guy akts all hardcore...

  • Totaly agree its a great song..but its kinda sad for some reason

  • @mindofmorrison the beat is soo sad... like your favorite actor dies in your favorite movie

  • damn.. dope track

  • Gigan raps on escape from monsta island, he has a pitch effect in this song but, you can still tell its him.

  • Told you the war was on they wanna keep you enslaved, this time its only people with the microchip that get paid ~ the rest are outcast, left to die they get no affection ~ its all a plan the next step is population correction that means, with the help of the U.N., they gonna merk a lot of folks at once and "keep it movin" ~ with no kinda repercussion for crimes, shit is obvious, lookin all stupid its in fronta ya eyes!

  • here is somethin more important to deliberate about rather than your opinion of a song that wasnt written for you (burn!)

  • there ya go

  • i think u guys need 2 calm down some lol i know this is a good song but no need 2 argue bcuz some1 called it a masterpiece

  • You guys are funny. bickering over the smallest things. the song is whatever you want it to be. however it applies to you. dont you get that about music? these guys (artists) dont care if you understand where they are commin from. make it mean something for YOU. after you do that, then I wouldnt mind hearing what you have to say.

  • quiet homo

  • i am sorry but i am so sick of people calling all these underground hip hop songs masterpieces or like it changed my life just stop really you sound like a tool i mean it is fine to think it but just keep your go damn mouth shut

  • Quincy Jones'*

  • There is a song called 820 Latham- [5th Dimension] at this time a video response.

After hearing that song's beat I knew someone must have sampled it.

  • Actually the joint I'm seeing is "Requiem: 820 Latham" by the 5th Dimension.

4th Prince flipped this shit on the Science Projects joint w/ Killah Priest. Joint is ill. One.

  • im pretty sure its the twin peaks theme song

  • It's "Requiem: 820 Latham" by The Fifth Dimension

  • It's song from 1968 called "Requiem: 820 Latham" by the 5th Dimension. The song was written and arranged by Jimmy Webb and produced by Bones Howe.

  • we are trying to secure acousticism for ourselves before the mainstreamers wipe it out... the distortion is purposeful. it's the underground.

  • is it just me or songs like fastlane and this u can barely here the rappers over the music. I fucken love the rapping and the sampling is unreal. I just wish he would have done a little better job mixing.

  • This is raw hip hop at it's fullest... grimey basement beats....this the type of ish you listen to while you smoke a L with your homies rockin your Wu-wear..... Feel me ???
