  • Thank you for these Videos OP =) VERY useful

  • nice bike man

  • you should also open the dip stick for easier stronger flow.

  • shoulda told somebody to hold the camera for u , just sayin

  • Oil? where to I buy this stuff?

  • @buddydog1956 at an auto store >.< XD go to auto zone lol

  • A. Used oil has many carcinogens in it, (cancer causing agents), and to avoid cancer/death, it is a good idea to always wear rubber gloves and not get that used oil on your skin. You can pick up a box of 50 of them for about $5. B. Never, absolutely never start an engine without oil in it, as the metal-to-metal wear will take off thousands off of the engines life.

  • @HiTechOilCo Sure, you could wear gloves, but then you'd be a pussy :D Actually motor oil is not dangerous. If you want more information check out the MSDS supplied by the manufacturer.

  • @SuperSneakySteve - Used motor oil is exceedingly toxic. Next to battery acid, used motor oil is the most toxic substance in a typical auto center/garage. Unburned hydrocarbons, heavy metals, napthene, benzyene, asphalts, acids, etc., are all present in used motor oil. Allowing used motor oil onto your skin is unfortunately a great way to get cancer. :(

  • @SuperSneakySteve when you do it as part of your living its smart to wear rubber or nitrel gloves to avoid washing your hands constantly lol

  • @HiTechOilCo ive been handling it for years and last time i checked i didnt have cancer.

  • holding that camera and talking sure is tough

  • thank you for great video

  • Good lord! Tell me I didn't just hear this guy say he was going to start the motor WITHOUT oil in it!?!?

  • He said start up again once the oil is all the way out, As in start up working again I think. hehe

  • You should never start the engine with no oil in it. When you do, you risk metal to metal main and rod bearing contact. Dennis

  • Tin foil! Smart!! Good vids man keep it up

  • try to catch ur breath before talking

  • lol, ha ha ha, well said!!!!!

  • Thanks cool video+++

  • Which 'contaminants'? Of course the oil is much easier to replace when the engine is still warm. There are no 'contaminants' - just the ones that already are inside the old oil. A few minutes of warming the engine up won't make it worse. The new oil will clean that up. Regular oil changes will keep the engine clean enough. My GPZ600R is from 1989 and still running well, and the oil has always been changed when the engine was warm...

  • Awesome video and very helpful thanks alot for posting is there anyway you will be putting up a video on how to do a coolant flush!

  • Awesome work ... thanks for posting this.

  • Hondagirl here! Thanks SSS!!!

  • if you take off the fuller cap, it will drain the oil out faster, like when you clamp the top of a straw in your drink of water, it wont excape easy...

    good guide..

  • Good video, thanks for making a solid guide.

    CB900 - nice bike.

  • Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna try it for the first time ... I have KLE500

    Ophir

  • is that a honda CB

  • why replace the washer?

  • The washwer is made out of soft aluminum. It gets crushed and forms a tight seal when the bolt is tightened. It is best for one-time use. Honda recommends that it be changed with each oil change. It costs $0.16 per washer so its worth replacing. You can buy them in bulk at most dealers and online.

  • makes sense, k thanks dude!
