The video camera is aimed at a display screen, not at the stage, so there's an audio delay there. The backup singers are definitely lip-synching, but I think Al is singing live - the yell around 2:40 is not really the same as the recorded track.

All the back ups were him if you were talking about vocals... if you're talking about the people goofing around on stage with him, he doesn't even use them when touring. And they'd cost too much money and look too cheesy anyway.

Also, those "backup people" aren't singing. The backing vocals here are prerecorded by AL. Go to one of his REAL live shows to see a better performance.

Those other guys with Al are not the BSB. They were hired to pretend to be back-up singers. Al found out about this just minutes before going onstage. Al is the only one singing live. The other guys are lip-syncing to a backing track. Still love watching this. Al looks great.
