@Droopah1 I may be able to offer some help. Behind the bumper cars, you can camp by the ledge. You can shoot over it, regain health while shooting under, enemies only really come from one way and they don't walk over. It's close to MacMillion too. Just throw C4 on both sides of the fence and cars. If you throw some down before you drop Mac on the grass, you get 6 more. Blow that when the helicopter arrives. Throw flashes and grab Mac. Good luck.

Works very well. I had to improvise with claymore's set at the 2 entrances of the bumper cars, 2 on the back landings of the ferries wheel and one by the bench u run by once u pick up your partner. Barely took any damage. Thanks again.

i just confirmed it, it indeed stills works on veteran, nd if u want, wen macmillan say "enemy choppers inbound" u get a checkpoint nd after that u can save nd quit then if u die u can just start it up from there nd i dnt think u can die wen u pick him up nd head 4 the plane cuz i took alot of bullets. owell thats my 2cents i hope it helps

@Grantofglyn try changing the route that you run to the helicopter, when i did it i ran right along side and actually managed to stop and regain my health behind the "wing" on the side and then do the final couple of meters. hope it helps

I did this all the time. The people kept finding ways around me and kill me, so I had to find a place to hide to survive. I tried everywhere, and that was the only place that worked. Lol, the occasional grenades in are tricky at times, I threw all my original grenades out at the beginning so I would KNOW that I had thrown the grenade out, just incase they got it to a place where you couldn't see it.

This is how i did this part, before the 1st checkpoint i stayed with the guy and shot everyone from where he was. Then after i went into that exact same place. I died many time inside but a couple of times i didn't. after the plane comes dash for the guy. once you get to him don't worry because you can take alot of bullets with him on your back. just head to the plane and mission over

It worked. To those with nade problems, just try to maneuver yourself away from the nade indicator as much as possible. You also NEED to send back any nades that you possibly can.

Oh, and try to stick against the right wall, since enemies mount up on the ferris wheel. If you can, throw the grenades back at those guys!

for everyone dying once the helicopter lands, remember: flashbangs are your best friend once it lands. throw one out of the booth and run. when you reach MacMillan toss another. that should give you enough time to get on the heli.

on a completely unrelated note, does anyone else think when MacMillan says "you'll have to carry me" earlier in this level it sounds like milhouse on that "lord of the flies" episode of the "the simpsons"?

Its true that you take less damage when you are carrying someone. It also happens when you re carrying the injured piot on thePal Jackson level when the nuke goes off. I did it on veteran same results.
