  • Last good song this idyeet ever wrote.

  • u can think in your right mind the c thunders pipe band beats these boys as they march out of the mull of Kintyre"

  • Scotland sounds so amazing and i would love to travel there. MAybe one day in the future!

  • Good Show! You did alright with the depictions of various scenic portrayals.

As for those references by you others to "Celtic Thunder," well it's just that "CT" lacks a specific depth of tone in their presentation. They've a clean, polished, professional performance and presentation. But,they simply don't imbue the spirit to persuade me that "Mull of Kintyre" is where they'll be laid to rest.

  • CT is produced for old folks, like Lawrence Welk used to be. Formulaic, phoney emotions. Blah.

  • love the g

  • I must say, I like this version, but Celtic Thunder's version takes the cake.

  • I'm going to take a lot of flack for this but Celtic Thunder destroys Wings when it comes to this song. Just my opinion, folks.

  • I won't give you any flack, but I will disagree with you.

  • Thanks so much for posting this song. I spent some time in HolyLoch and surrounding area back in the 70's when I was a Sub Sailor. Back when Americans had respect. I had the time of my life over there. I went in some pubs where I could NOT buy myself a beer, because everyone wanted to buy the American a drink. I look back at that time as the best time of my life. Scotland is so beautiful with such a great history.

  • a few pics o evanton , alness & invergordon. I lived at the foot of Fyrish on Novar great mems

  • Mull of Kintyre had been on the top No.1 from Dec 1977 to Jan 1978 more than 8 weeks. How Amazing!!!!

  • I would love to hear "Runrig" sing this song......It's just beautiful....Makes me think of my Scotish Ancestors.

  • I'm Asian but I like the song and scenery as well. I hope to visit Scotland one day when the global economy recovers.

  • Excellent video!!! You should also check out the version of this song done by Celtic Thunder. They sing it very well.

  • beautiful video and spectacular version of this beautiful song

  • I am not Scottish, Irish, or English, but I do enjoy Celtic music! My best friend introduced me to some of her favorite artists from that area of the world, and I've loved the music ever since. :)

  • I love this song.

I'm American, but I am Cherokee, English, Irish, AND Scottish. A real mutt, I am, but I love and miss my Scottish grandfather. His father was from Campbeltown.

  • Im from South Africa, but man there must be something scottish hidden in me cause this song touches me.

  • Nice Scotish scenery. I'm not English, Irish neither Scot (though my family lastname has the scot in it ;-) i consider me thistype of a song for me. Am from the far Far East by rizal beach stuck in this friggin cold Canadian tundra, lol

  • I am English but I so love Scotland. It's scenary, its people and I too wish I could live there. Did a tour of the south western coast starting from Addrossan, right down to the Stranraer and Port Patrick and came home through Dunfries and Galloway. Fantastic day that was. Stay in my heart forever

  • Go Invergordon! lol

  • I am nutty about this song also.

I was not aware it was a patriotic song but it sure stirred me and was previously considered an anthem...yes it still should be I reckon

  • Beautiful song! Beautiful country! Beautiful people!

from Italy, with love! W Scotland!

  • I love this video, it reminds me of when I stayed in Scotland in 2005. I'm Scotch-Irish, and this just gets me all worked up and makes me want to go back.

    Thank you!

  • Scotch is a drink. Enjoy it by all means but dont call yourself one. You are Scots-Irish.

  • Absolutely beautiful. My mother was of the Stewart clan. And my father's family was also partially Scottish. I love Scotland so much...I really wish I could move there.

Lynnifer, I agree with you, my heart is in Scotland, and that is where our home is.

  • Grew up in Alness...great video , brought a wee tear to my eye!

  • nice song...

  • I love this song.

    Scotland, maybe one day.

If home is where the heart is,

    I'm far from home.
