LoL The majority of the buttons to have a function, oil slick, smoke screen, micro jam, voice projection, dual cameras with recording modes front and back, and quite a bit more. However, Ski Mode was for him driving on two wheels. "AUTO" was for driving on his own. And if you're looking for him to start talking, keep browsing my videos.....he does talk. :-)

And as you can tell, never got over that car or show. :-) I've tried my best to keep my mods and improvements to my Kitt as true to the show as possible. But in the end.....I just wanted my own Kitt car.....and the car represented in these videos is the best I could come up with. It makes me happy when folks such as yourself dig it too. :-) Peace man.

@USRaph14 It's not so much as where I live, but rather familiarizing yourself with the laws in your area. I've discussed this many many times with law enforcement people and at least in my state, there is no law stating that you "must" have a round wheel. It's not even an existing law or ordinance. Now, if they want to be crappy with me and say it's unsafe....there's no law backing up their claim....so, I still use the wheel. :-)

I didn't know about any replicas with functional trunklid or oil slick! I love it! While I'm not sure of the accuracy of the dashboard, I love how it looks once lighted! I had never seen a lighted KITT dashboard from the outside of the car haha

@r92g Actually, since this video was done, I've done several more with enhanced components on the dash that make it a carbon copy of what you would have seen during the third and fourth season of Knight Rider. Not to mention, my Kitt has many more "real" functions added to him since this vid. Check out the others.....you may be surprised. :-)

There's so many functions that you can put on kitt! Like a couple machine guns,smoke,or even nails for other enemy drivers.I always imagined kitt with some extra fire power,to bad that in the series they didn't put them.The show ended many years ago and they didn't make it to update kitts weaponry,what can anyone say....all the good things come to an end! your son is lucky to have a father like you!

awesome oil slick feature and underbody lights how did you put it in? did you make the oilslick unit your self? which led neon kit did you use?

The oil slick contraption is home made. I used after market windshield washer sprayers, a small but effective after market sprayer pump, and built the reservoir. It's all tied into my car's power, plus the "Oil Slick" push button on my Pod Unit. I didn't use LED NEONs for the SPM lights. They are carefully placed driving lights covered with red acrylic.
