I'll admit, the anime really changed the way I think. The manga, on the other hand, sort of twisted the message that the anime seemed intent on delivering, by overusing violence and swearing, then finishing with a horribly FFX-like ending.

Quite a few people I knew had trouble believing that the anime came first. I knew it did, btw. I'm a huge fan of Eureka Seven. Learned all I could after seeing a few episodes, then finding the rest here.
