  • i do not understand too. This way INCRASES the rendering time at x 10 because i have to render every single picture in DAZ that i can combine them in photoshop or gimp - i use.

I think this way is useless.

  • This is an awesome technique! Whew, my renders look better, and it doesn't take 3 hours anymore! But, what type(s) of lights did you do in this render???

  • hi

thnx but were you rendering in photoshop?

Can i do this with animation scene in 3d software? like in daz3d

  • @idinho, this is rendered in DAZ Studio. The layers were then combined in Photoshop, but you can do that in The Gimp as well.

  • Very good info in here!

  • Thanks...I sub'd 2U if you don't mind.........

  • This is very good tutorial . Do you have a tutorial for saving render time when your animating? its hard to layer when your animating, even when using adobe premiere for post work

  • @IvySummers1, Hi - i have not - but the process is similar. You need good planning, then do a previs (simple animation without lights) and then edit the whole thing right there. Once that's done, you can then add lights and render those in layers. And then it's just the postwork process.

  • Very helpful video!! thank a lot! ^-^

  • @SissyBoutchou, you're welcome! :)

  • Hey, glad you like it! Oh yeah, I know what you mean with 2-4 hours per render..!

  • What a great tutorial! I plan to really try to follow your instructions! My rendering time has been terrible... I hate having to wait sometimes 2 or 4 hours for a single render when I'm using raytracing! Thank you for your video! :)

  • @faeriedanse, awesome, glad you found it useful!
